i have a qus to ask i recenlty did a cleaning on my bmc air filter and after i oil the filter and let it dry and i install it back.

the next day when i ride there is abit of oil leaking from the air intake side so i guess the oil filter is not totally dry. my qus here is will that cause any problem to my bike??

What he means is that oil is leaking out from his air box.

 

Is this correct? If so, this should not be the case if you are using the stock air box.

It's the oil from the air filter? The one used to recharge after cleaning the filter media.

 

Well, if you over apply the oil, could reduce airflow, make your ride run rich.

 

I believe it states in the instructions that if you apply till it drips, then redo.

Believe it's a gsr400. If oil is dripping out of the air intake port......

 

Yeah you are right! ya its dripping out from air in take port but nw it does not drip already do i still nid to re-oil?

well, if you are worried and have some spare time then u can clean and recharge it again, this time apply a thin layer of oil only, and clean any drips before re-installing it to the bike.
