Hey I would just like to enquire if any of you have bought second hand bikes from either speedway motors (at tohguan Road) or De xing Motors (Ubi Ave 3) because i'm probably going to buy a bike from there and i'd like to know if they have any bad reputation. thankyou

speedway if im not wrong their bike is superb condition but if u wanna buy for installment hmm i dont recommend u at speedway cause hmm 3 day to a week if u late payment they tow ur bike already

NEVER EVER buy anything from Global Motors. and watch out, they get so much negative word going out, plus always getting sued, they will keep changing their name. they used to be called Everbright

You can buy from asphoon! I don't work there, but I bought a second hand bike from them before. Do check the engine if it has leaked, etc.

Wun tow the bike, but late payment after 7 days will incur $30-$40. Had experienced once when i tried to pay but the ubi outlet was closed on sat. And due to my work commitment can only go down the following sat. 1 week wait = extra cost.. And they wun based on your previous timely payment record to waive the fee.

Every shop has something unique to it. May come in the form of a cheap bike, free gifts, or a good team of after sales support/ mechanics. Why not survey around and look for a deal that suits you? One man's meat is another man's poison

Any bikeshop will cheat you if they could. As consumers its our responsibility to thoroughly and properly check the condition of the bike before putting pen to paper. Good luck.

If you guys studied commercial law, there are some things which a shop can refund you back your money. All of it.

 

Let's just say, if you buy a car and it is not road worthy or unsafe, you can ask for compensation. But if like clutch plate wear and tear, then cannot.

 

Don't quote me. Just telling you guys what i remember. End of the day, who got most money for lawyer wins.

Will bike shops sell at higher price if i don't take up instalment plan?.. That means i pay full cash, no instalments.

Not sure about that but i think it'll cost more if u take up an installment plan or finance the bike you're going to take. Only makes sense coz you're "loaning" from them and it's kind of fair for them to earn from the interest. Different shops have different policies tho. So why not go down and ask.

Hi! Can have any advises Speedway Motor Shop now?? Since 2006, haven't ride any bike (only got 2A) and staying at jurong area wants to get a bike near my place. I have heard that Speedway quite ok now compare to last time.. ... Pls advise!! Thks
