argh....im sick of studying my marketing and CF MA already.

 

can anybody tell me which are the best topics to spot for prelims???? im like now considering like only focusing on 5 topics for this damm prelims....running out of time...

 

my proposal is

MA......ust go for ac&mc , abc , bedget and decision making.

CF......just go for capm, apt, options pricing , capital structure,

marketing.....duno where to start manz.........

 

in ruturn i can give advice for the other subs ive taken

macro.....just do growth, income, ISLM.

ME .....just do utility , game theory, bargaining

hi Seastorm..u taking full or partime??

 

i graduated frOm pOly wif a diploma in engineering..

intend to take up full-time..

however i hv worries switching to biz courses..cOz no biz background..

any of ur clazmates or anyOne here same situation as mi??

 

hi juz trying to help here...i graduated from engineering in SP and now taking the same course as Seastorm but i'm taking full-time in my 5th semester now...in addition to the 3 specialization, there's one more specialization for full time student which is Entrepenurship. IMO as long as u ask more and study harder you dun have to worry about switching to biz course. :)

Just wana check so far is there anybody or u guys noe who has successfully switch over from business course to engineering course? Or even in real life career & done well :confused:

 

 

:) Or more students from engineering course & later on switching over to business who has done well.

 

Just wana do a survey to find out.

 

Its easier to switch from engineering to biz... so far, have not heard of anyone switching from biz to engineering... a bit tough cuz engineering is a professional degree and very specific... need years of foundation work to establish the knowledge base... not as straight forward as biz...

:cheeky: dun worry, no matter how difficult it is, i guess it won't be as difficult as those engineering courses tat we study last time. Calculate all those bolts & nuts, threading, tool & die......calculate until now kinda become blockhead :faint:

However, a degree program is different from a Dip. There is a lot of self study involved in order to do well. Dip i feel was a lot of spoon feeding as compared to the degree course.

i went for the course briefing @sim..realised there is only 4x lectures per week..

i guessed e rest is otot bah..self-discipline is a must..

:) yes, i'm gonna enroll for the course very soon. Try my luck on it! Anyway i'm was never a clever student or good in studies during school days. I'm just a neighbourhood kid. But then i also gonna just try it out

I'm from this course. I'm in my last sem. Specialization in business finance. What do you wish to know? Must give me questions before I can answer mah.

out of e 4 specialization in e brochure..there a caution for biz finance..

NOTE: it requires a good grasp of quantitative techniques blah blah blah..

is it hard??

 

does specialisation determine wat kind of job we gettin later on..

eg. biz finance = bank??

we took quite long to get there.... cuz 1 busa running in, myself first time touring, and another super 4 with pillion...
