I juz recieved a summon from HDB (red letter) saying I've yet to make payment for my parking offence ($8, parking without coupon) but the problem is, I was at home at the time of the offence. I don't even know how to go to the place where my bike got summon (Clementi area). I suspect got ppl using fake number plate. Any bros here encounter something like this before?

if you are 100% sure that it was not your bike and no one else is riding it, make a police report on suspected forgery and appeal to HDB with your report.

could it be your sub-rider riding your bike? maybe the parking warden key in the wrong plate number?

i have a similar case as your but it involve in insurance claim. my insurance company rejected the claim and it have been 1year and there is no response from the other party.

anyway, i just got a $8 summon yesterday too:cheeky:

i got no sub rider, i'm thinking maybe the parking warden key in the wrong plate number. I've brought up the matter to HDB side, they are looking into the matter now. Told me not to pay for the summon till further notice. This is the first time i've got a summon for parking offences. I always put parking coupon for the past few years. Hope it's juz a keying error and not someone using the same plate as me.

high chance it a mistake. don't worry. if you want to play safe, just lodge a police report.

haha but the problem is i never go to the said location, i was dead asleep at the point of time.. lucky my wife used to work at HDB and she knew the HDB unit head in charge of carpark summons. Now we are asking them for a explaination why this error can happen. If they also can't do anything about it, guess i have to go lodge a Police Report then..
