Try to put a bit of cooking oil at one of the opening, a bit will do

For a day or two, the sponge will move a bit, after that it will stay firm on the lever

Tried and worked

soapy water. or compressed air gun at workshops. it grips once it dries up. try not to use oil based stuff such as wd40 as it will slip around when u depress the lever. takes sometime for the slippery to diminish too.

i have the exact same grips as u do :)

Mmmmm.........to make it more easy,

Try your friendly motorshop where you have any (bend until break) mechanic friends who will use their compress air guns to blow the paddings to fit.

Fast & Easy......Believe Me---i tried DIY once and i nearly feel like trashing the whole thing.(I mean the padding not my bike:D )
