abt Chain lub

any1 knows where to get dupont chain savers?? there used to be the pmo....but sadly no more...i would say power product doesnt fling off and dirt on the chain is kept minimal... so please help me..where can i get it??

 

You can try Dupont Singapore distributor (Pasedena Enterprise). They are selling Teflon Multi-Use Lub. Not sure whether they have the chain saver.

Anyone here use OWS degreaser or chain cleaner to clean off the dirt and grim before apply chain lub? Don't know the exact model of that thing but it is purple/pink in color, quite a big can, $15 at unique, thinking should I give it a try rather than using soap to clean my chain normally.

Thanks for the heads up. I was about to ask. I wonder if this Dupont product is the same in appearance as the wax/white grease that often came with new chains.

DuPont Chain Saver and Multi use are one of the best in the market. Though, aside from that, would like to make an off-topic statement.

 

Do clean your chain whenever you're doing your washing. All the gunk and stuffs that are trapped within the chain will not be washed off just by lubing or using of chain oilers such as Scottoiler or Ezzyoiler.

 

Clean those with Diesel or Kerosene, whichever you prefer then lube it with your preferred lube.

As mentioned, diesel or kerosene. Small brush or cloth soaked in it... Then wipe d chain down..

i using Waxco chain lube from jb petrol station. around 8 - 10rm per bottle. quite clean, but will fling off if you ride after spraying.

 

Normally will lube after riding and leave it overnight to minimize the fling off

look for GP1 ( Black/Orange bottle) from AhBoy singapore...

 

he will open price @ $15, just say u buy from them @ $12 b4... or try to bargain your way..

 

if not , their price wouldnt drop..

 

 

Do warm up your chain b4 lubin, it will helps.
