I know a friend who frequent Japan, he did said that the NC are very popular in Japan now. So, I guess Mr. Lee is right in a way.

Btw, saw a white color NCX on PIE just now, towards BKE. Think he bought a big roll of vinyl decal and strap on his top box (Hepco Junior), anyone here? AMxx. Hello, I was your fellow white bike.

Silver NCX in Seng Kwang, fitting toprack for Zega Pro. Must be Mr. Peterlim...

Yes,that's me! How are you? I collect my bike and send to Seng Kwang straight....I will collect this afternoon,no rush i told them.

Sharing some info from LTA regarding foglights n DRL..

Foglights are legal if they meet certain international stAndards. N if they r legal, they dont have to be covered..

http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/modifications_and_vehoffences/modification_guide/modification_allowed.html#MainPar_0009

DRL are illegal unless factory fitted..

Hey guys just a question but pls dont slap me cause i will still be 1yr+ away from getting this bike since i havent even taken Cls2 but taking 2A in 2 weeks time. However i need to plan ahead as my Phantom has only 2.5yrs left before its dead. Saw this bike at my GF's house and was totally smacked-in-love it. Basically looking for a long term light-touring bike with at least capable of cruising at 130km/h for long distances. I read somewhere that this bike has excellent fuel economy and i feel that its a great thing. I also read somewhere that this bike is great for starters/learner as its an easy bike to start/ride with. My question is, is it advisable to jump from phantom and onto this bike since its "starter friendly"? Cause i dont feel like getting 2A bikes like super 4 for just a few mths and selling it again when i jump to cls2. What are your ideas for this bike?

2B - 29 December 2010, one time pass

2A - On going...

I used to be a TA200 rider for 7 years, then i changed to a new super four revo for 2 years, then recently changed to NCS. I would think that it is still up to personal preference but i would say that all 3 bikes handle differently, even though super four and NCS is both a naked bike. In my personal opinion and experience, i would say that if 2 years back NC was in the market when i was deciding to by a bike, i would go straight for the NC. Not that i dun like my super four but i think it it much easier to handle, more fuel efficient and slightly more upright position. This is my two cents worth. :)

Of course its a perfect bike fr beginners and experienced alike...

Myself rode rxz for 1yr, sper4 fr 2yrs, blackbird fr 5yrs then this.... All i can say its the better bike for sg commuting and even the occasional ride up north.

Its all up to individual....but since u say u taking 2A soon lets see whether u can endure the temptation of getting a 400cc bike right after u pass ur TP ;)

I said the same thing as u befre i took my 2A back then, then after pass straight away go bike shop got super 4 hahaa

Either way, its a great bike really :)

I see. As for kind rider who replied above, thats what im looking for in the NCX - upright riding posture. Phantom has a very upright posture and i really like it. Anw yeah thats what i thought so too that i cant resist the temptation. Haha cause i really like my phantom alot. Plus now still in NS abit hard to come up with the savings. When i ORD i can take cls2 alr. So by then would have saved enough for the NCX. Hmmm just wondering can the forward storage compartment fit a half face helmet or even full face? I feel that if it does its alot more theft proof for exp helmet than putting it in the box behind.

You should read the NC700 UK forum.. Those guys are kicking a ruckus up for cycleworld quoting the bike is ideal for beginner. Most of those guys having rode 30+ bikes, and are very experienced riders.

I would say, this bike are suitable for newbie because of how easy it is to ride.

Suitable for experienced rider, because they will appreciate the FC, smoothness, nimble-ness and storage.

As for riding posture; if you want something like your phantom, get a chopper. This will never come close... By the time you get the upright, you will get blasted off at highway speed. :)

n yes, the front non-tank can fit a full face..

Havent tried my full face HIC yet.... But my regula helmet quite a squeeze due to the air flow panels on the helmet. But then agin my helmet XL, so mybe tat contributes to hving to squeeze it in abit....

But otherwise its really handy the space..... Can fit a wholelot to it.....

And agree with whyzee......cannot compare to chopper, posture is different. U may confuse it with the high bars but......different ball game altogether.

Fr me got it cause of the FC, road tax insurance cost and ideal ride for street riding...... Kinda redundant having 1100-1400cc bike riding 90-110kmh most of te time....and once a year touring... The NCX perfect fit fr my lifetyle now

I prefer to have ABS.. got to wait..

surely good to have, sadly mine doesn't have it. have to be slightly more careful during hard braking.

well, good things are worth the wait, goodluck!
