Hi Guys

Any recommendation for new tyres for an NC750X and place for a good deal ?

My NC came stock with Dunlop Trailmax D609 front and rear. I've read that the Trailmax wears out fast.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

Need some advise. About to get NC750 but do not know which is the better choice DCT or NON DCT bike. Maintenance, handling etc. Hope to get some picture about the the difference. TIA

DCT is for people who do not like/do not know how to shift gears/have issues with their left hand and/or arm and/or left foot or leg due to disability/injury and needs the machine to do it for them. NON-DCT is for people who love to ride their bikes the traditional way; shifting up/down whenever they have to/need to/want to. With the DCT you will not have a clutch lever or gear lever on the left side of the bike. They will be missing. You will have buttons on the left switch block to allow you to shift up or down the gears if you so wish to do so OR leave it in auto-mode whereby the bike will upshift/downshift on its own. You will need not have to bother about which gear you are in; just twist & go (like a scooter). Which system you prefer would depend entirely on your riding style/your type of riding and is very subjective. Either one will give you much joy & pleasure on two wheels.

Happy shopping!

Am trying to learn the different versions of NC. So far I only got to know there is the 700 and 750 versions n those with and without ABS (differentiated via the letter A at the end of the model name). I also heard that 2016 onwards is LED lights. Can anyone enlighten me more? Like which year go what changes and how to differentiate those with n without DCT? The that most sellers didnt mention anything on the listings suggest that possibly all these may be differentiated by year of production.

Thank you very much in advance.

Boon Siew did not bring in XD for 2018 model, the DCT currently in sg market are all 2017 model, if you wish to get 2018 DCT, might have to purchase directly from Boon Siew and it's 3 months wait.

for 2017 DCT, you can check with MAH

for insurance, it depends on your age, experience, claims and NCD (e.g. age:33, 3 years exp and 0% NCD will cost 510 for fire and theft from NTUC), you can get your own quotation directly from NTUC website
