Greetings to all!

I am a proud new owner of a 1999 5th Gen... It has been more than a year of scouring the internet for info, waiting for license eligibility, saving of funds etc. and at last, i've managed to get my hands on one. Loving that V4 exhaust note and the whine of those gear driven cams... mmm:thumb: This bike happens part of a plan to (eventually) ride across the Asian continent, through India and Pakistan, Nepal, northern China, by ship to Japan.....sorry for getting carried away!:cheeky:

Anyway, before all that can happen, I figured that first of all, she'd have to be taken apart and given a thorough overhaul, as her mileage is approaching 190k km. Soooo, this is where I need you guys' help. Are there any recommendations for a shop I could trust to handle major engine work? l'm anticipating new pistons/piston rings, cylinder liners, valves, camshafts, various main bearings and the lot, depending on a professional mech's opinion of course. Electrical and suspension work will come later. Which are the shops/mechanics you guys frequent?

Any advice is appreciated!

Cheers!
