Hi guys, I hope your never experience this, but clutch shudder is a common problem on older models of m109r. Its this super jerky thing you feel when moving off from stop. I've spoken to some mechanics and they say it is a common problem with this bike, cant do much about it, live with it..

 

I just wanna say that this is a mechanical problem and it can be fixed! no need special modifications, just need to order some replacement parts, about 350usd, then find a mechanic that dares to put 6 clutch plates into a clutch housing that used to only hold 5 clutch plates. I just did this fix and I just wanna say i can go hard take off with not a hint of jerk/shudder. I did not come up with the fix myself, just copied what others have done overseas. Good luck with the part numbers!

Just a quick word, realised that the correct amount of engine oil makes a different in the running and gear change. previous oil change the guy did not fill enough and fortunate i topped up.

 

Still looking for a good mechanic who can look after the beast. Any ideas much appreciated!
