Wilbers rear shock

Hi there,

I'm riding VFR800 Vtec and planning to change the rear shock. Has any fellow viffers here change to Wilbers? Can give feedback pls? Thanks.

I did consider them but....the shipping price is put me off....

Hi, the bike shop K&T told me there is a deal by Hyperpro, it's a box kit with 2 progressive front spribgs, oil and a new rear shock. The rear shock is not the racing type lah, believe it'll only have preload and damping adjustment.

 

it's $950 for the whole set incl installation. I ordered it, will let you guys know more when it arrives 6 weeks later.

Btw, I've ordered the Wilbers mono shock from mtech last month but yet to arrive. Price including shipping and fixing is $850. Ordered Wilbers 'coz can customized the total rider, pillion and luggage weight. Now still waiting, will see how the set up goes...can tahan my weight or not heheh.

 

One more thing, any motor shop can recommend to service front forks?
