Does anybody have a good tail bag to recommend?

I don't use my pillion seat so I'm thinking of getting a tail bag.

Any information about how the tail bag is secured, whether it is waterproof and where and for how much you bought it would be appreciated.

There is the fastpack by Cycleguys for sports bikes.

Ventura has the Estoril. Seat does not need to be taken off to remove bag.

Some bags are strapped around the seat. Others are strapped to the bike (e.g. pegs, handrail).

Most are not waterproof without a rain cover. If you're interested in a waterproof design, look for Ortlieb, Kriega etc. Ortlieb is available from a small shop opposite Queensway SC.

Personally I used a canoe deck bag and the Ventura sports pack (on a rack) for my previous machine.

I will remove the bag when parked to prevent it from being stolen. I will suggest getting FastPack if you are those riders who are lazy to keep removing the bag. You can google for this product to get what I mean. But I don't know how tough it is when a pillion sit on top of it. Will it tear when the pillion "slide" around on top of it.

No... I only kept the bike cover and parking coupons in it. Locked the zippers and bag with padlocks and metal chain (3mm) though.

Does the bag comes with the lock or you added on yourself?

Have looked at some of the recommendations, and I love the way the Kriega DryBags look. As they attach under the seat I'm guessing it should be okay to leave them on the bike when parking in relatively safe places with security such as office car parks so long as you lock the bag shut.

How is the Fastpack attached?
