Very good buy at the NBW booth..

 

tried the GP Tech..really comfy after discount is @ $750 nett.

stealth is will be $408.

hi all bros, any ti-tech users ard? i seriously need some advice on my new helmet..

 

i realised that when i close the visor, the visor mechanism seem to be blocked by a little obstacle nicely modded onto the side of helmet which doesnt allow me to close my visor smoothly. it seemed that i have to use a little strength to push down the visor before it pass that little obstacle thus closing the visor completely.

 

so i am not sure if this is designed to ensure the visor is securely closed when riding cause unlike my other helmets which i can open and close very easily, i have to like findle a little with this agv visor before closing. so when i am riding, its rather annoying to open and close the visor.

hey guys,wanna ask a question.my fren is using a k series XS size.she wants to change the cushions to M.u tink possible or not?cos its a bt too tight.m and XS the agv shell is different ar?

I gave up using tearoffs already. Got myself an extra tinted visor. But cost can be 10 times more.

Yes..u do it wrong..

 

How many plastic cover u removed from the tear offs?? If only 1 grey cover then it means u do it wrong..There's another clear plastic cover on the other side and u need to remove it too..

 

I got problem with tightening the tear offs..haiz!!

 

U got a GP-Tech? Which model and how much??

Thanks for the tips. Didnt realise there are 2 sheets to tear off....... no wonder it didnt work..

 

Hahaha..the tear offs got me too..i was wondering why is the view so blur..how to ride??!! So i fiddle somemore than found out got 1 more piece to tear off.. :faint:

 

And the tightening of the tear off doesn't seem tight but once on the road, it sticks like glue..err well not really but it sticks..

 

Went to PG and faced no problem at all...

I just passed my 2B,went over to Regina and got a AGV AirTech Solid white for $320.So here's the question....Did I get ripped off??:faint:

 

I was actually intending to buy a Shoei TZ-R,which was the lowest range shoei priced at 350,but the shop owner Darren was like "Why do you want to pay that price for something that is not good,heavier,less Ven and he started ranting on and on about AirTech,...really placed alot of effort into selling me this AGV...Either he's really friendly knowledgeable or he really wants to get rid of a helmet range that doesn't sell well or getting old.

 

So did I?get ripped off?o_O

 

Checked online,there was an ebay selling at 90pounds=$195, but other websites are like 129pounds=$295+ All excluding shipping.

Not really carrot..my fren got cheaper but its bcos he also bought Alpinestars suit, gloves, boots. SO I can say the helmet is well priced..

hmm , i would rather u get agv stealth, same series but has aerodynamic shaping. S4 is round shaped only. :thumb: hope dis helps!
