About a week or so, my friend just took out his first-hand spark 135 and wanted to do the running in so I suggested he hit SLE > CTE > AYE > PIE > BKE > SLE. I noticed that the electronic signboards were displaying about TP doing an operation, so I told my friend not to do anything stupid. But the whole time we were on different expressways, there weren't any TPs in sight! How come?

This sign will always be on. Because TP is always doing their duty. But whether you kena them or not depends on your luck. If you are determine to meet them, keep zooming up and down the expressway above speed limit, and your wish will be granted soon...

They put up the signage so that they can hide in the centre of the covered overhead bridge on PIE - Toa Payoh and use the vegetation for cover and concealment mah. Then when they catch you...Muhahahaha! :cheeky: Seen them so many times liao and many kayu ones e-brake when they spot them last minute...

hmm aiya as long as there are kayu drivers one day, we are never safe on the road. i rather meet a tp then to meet a kayu driver which endangers other road users. :giddy:

Talking about the boys in white...

I was scared shitless today! Zoomed out of the SLE exit at Mandai Ave and then saw 4 white bikes coming at me in my mirrors.

In the end I close throttle a bit to be on the safe side then when they came close I realised not TP la.

When they overtook me I counted 2/3 ST 11 and one STX1300. Dunno if there was an FJR among them. All white bikes, all white helmets.

Talk about TP look alikes!

Someday, home will be where my front wheel points.

I have always felt that people who like to emulate authoritive colours on the roads have serious self-esteem inferiorities and lean on icons of supposed masochism(Twaffic Puriss) as some form of psychological comfort .

I know who la,i oso bumped into people like that before. The pattern they ride on the road like they trying to pin point your riding/driving faults , give u a 35cent face, see here see there. Well, u cannot account for taste, so watever works for them lor.

I personally know someone who rides a white bike with white helmet n all the werks, a la Uncle Sam, go out talk oso very loud n yaya. This fella at home kena scream by the wife everyday, only know how to keep quiet, feel damn sad for him.

Actually, I find you have nothing to be scared of...If you have nothing wrong with your bike and did not commit any offence, why worry that they are present... I met them a few times and a few tried to follow me for some distance before zooming off. I looked at them and smiled...

Actually, I find Singapore police force's bikes are quite well designed. So it is not surprising that some people like to mimic the color scheme and enjoy some extra priviledges too... Only that a handful of them goes overboard and copy until >95% of the design lest the TP logo... :cheeky:

lol there isnt any law that states that u cant have the same paintwork as a TP bike or car. well obviously u dont go put the "police" word or blinkers then everything is fine.

Just as a side note, the expressways are not really the best place to run-in a new bike... too much time spent maintaining at a constant throttle/speed is not good.

;)

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

Heh heh....

What you describe this boy in white a la twaffic puriss is fun to read.

I almost roll off my chair while reading it.

I bet this fella got those tp alike reflective at his side box as well.

Anyway, back to topic, traffic police ops or no ops also ride carefully.

Oh yes, the statement is "Traffic Police Ops, Pls Drive safely", that means to "drivers" only?

This remind me of the sign something like "slower motor vehicle keep left" sign. Those ugly driver always have the concept that we bike "MUST" keep to the left lane and not share their 1st lane?

Cheers!

aiyahh the sign only said "Traffice Police Ops,Pls DRIVE safely" mean only targeting drivers..we are riders n we ride, not drive..hehe ok not funny :cheeky:
