Bought myself an armorall ultra shine liquid polish http://www.armorall.com/products/view_product.php?product_id=35

to clear the fine swirls on my tank & light scratches on tail but it doesnt seems to do its job...after a few applications the fine swirls and scratches are still visible as before..

does off the shelves swirl-removal really work? anyone tries any brand before?

saw meguiars scratchX 2.0 at carrefour the other day, if not for its hefty price i would have grab it :sian:

Been searching for similar product which actually works.

1) Mantis scratch remover

2) Meguairs Scratch X

3) Turtlewax scratch remover

Read reviews for all the above products, and most say that these are mainly for scratches on clear coat only. Anything deeper than clear coat will have to send for re-spray. :dozed:

Have some fine scratches on my tank likely caused by sand or whatevernot grazing it. Doesnt seem worth it to send bike for respray. Oh well, just live with it till I find something that really works.

I applied scratch remover from Autosol on my friend's k8 1000 after dropping his single seater from his bike causing a nasty scratch.. After 3-4 applications, I could remove about 90-95% of the scratch making it look almost flawless..

p/s: It's Autosol Scratch Removal, not the common metal polish.. Cost:$10 from esso

don't count on off the shelve to remove scratches. often, they are too optimistic.
