Amir WAS one the best mechanics I've come across.

An example .... I bought a used class 2 bike and serviced it from the shop the previous owner bought from (at Ubi, this shop reselles BMW at that time, not sure about now). The mechanics there were all talk and boastful and some were a little insulting as well. Including carb service and retune, cost me about $250 I think. After the service, I took the bike and left. Bike felt very weird and underpowered; remember I just bought over this bike.

2 days and 150km later, the bike was out of fuel and immediately I knew there was something really wrong with this bike so I decided to bring this bike to Amir (I've had my other bikes serviced by him before). When I reached, I told him about the problem, he came to my bike, started it up and smiled; went back to the shop and came out with some tools and a new spark plugs. Took out the plugs 1 by 1, found the bad plug and replaced it. Started up the bike, listened to it and told me to pay $10 and I can go back now. Bike performed beautifully after that. From that day onwards, everything I needed to do with regards to a bike was all done by Amir and I even recommended a lot of new customers to him.

Care to elaborate?

Amir was during the time with Fabian one of the best.

He could pin point the fault of the bike by riding and the sound of the machine. No bull ****.

His service was top notch when he overhaul the engine, every little parts is replaced back to OEM specs or at least near.Though of course, maybe due to his very busy schedule he requires alot, I mean alot of time to do it.

Of course his time and skill is not cheap but at least I pay with the least worry, than all the other Ah seng ah beng mechanics even those from agents wk shop, which I had to double check and re-do the works, every time the bike is return to me, supposedly after service or repair.

Not Amir. His was real pro work.

I only saw him once when he was with Tachyon for a minor issue. Did not seem to have changed much, at least from what I can gather from that brief moment.

Of course, with time and changes, one cannot tell.

I had a good experience so far from amir.

I service my brakes and also top overhaul my bike there.

He would take the initiative to spot weld my front caliperS as from wear n tear it has a gap.

Some other bike shop would juz give a blind eye n some

Would juz ask me to buy new calipers with is off budjet.

I only go to him for the major stuff.

Small servicing would go other shop as its cheaper

Past to present rides

Honda nsr sp 150 pro arm

Honda super4 ver s - yamaha rxz 135

Honda cbr 600 rr

Suzuki hayabusa 1300 - yamaha cygnus 125 - yamaha lc135 spark

Aprilia sr max 300 I.e
