"BikeRescue" towing services

Recently my bike failed to start. Tried to push-start it, but failed as well. Saw some good reviews on “BikeRescue” from online forums. Called them up and the boss “Mike” picked up my call within some rings. He explained to me their costs and other info clearly and patiently. Within half an hr, he came over in his “ambulance” with his female helper (which I had read from forums that she’s his gf). Very prompt!!

 

Towed my bike away to his recommended workshop. Before the workshop actually commence on any work, Mike updated me the total costs involved in the repairs and to seek my authorization for the workshop to proceed. Very good service in that he bothered to update me the repair costs lest I get a heart attack on my final bill (turns out that my battery need to be replaced). The next day, Mike came over my house carpark to return me my bike since I opted for his 2-way service i.e. towing of bike to and fro my house.

 

Overall, I am very satisfied with his efficient service and also, his costs are very reasonable. I would vouch for “BikeRescue” without any qualms. With the increase in business over time, I cross my fingers that Mike will not increase his rates to all our biker bros in need as well.

True to their word, they reached abt 35 mins later, loaded my bike up, and towed it away to Planet.

My bike was towed once by them.. If he remembers, S4 at Seah Im.. Services was commendable.. But im still figuring out how he & gf was able to tow all that bike into the van.. Excellent service..

 

Anyways, another time, i called on behalf of my friend, he was busy at meeting or something and he apologised..

 

I think Mike should hire a replacement that can give the same service..

 

Cuz i understand that sometimes due to unseen circumstances, he needs to be away.. But i trust no other towing services..

 

 

PS: Mike, please hire someone to cover for you cuz we need your services & professionalism..

Thanks bro for sharing. Yes! We are in the mid of expanding with a lorry so as not to dissappoint my cust that their vehicle cant enter my van due to height limit. As the coe for vehicles is quite high we are still considering. I will update u guys bout the good news once the lorry is out. thanks bro!

I called Mike on tuesday to help me tow my bike to workshop, as i had suffered a crash in PG and was in no condition to ride to the workshop.

 

He was very punctual. 11am means 11am. He sent me an sms to say he was reaching and by the time i went down, the bike was loaded in the van and ready to go.

 

Had a good chat with him along the way to the workshop too. Very nice guy who is service oriented. As he is running everything solo now, pls be patient if he takes a while to answer your call.

The short story:

The long story:

My bike had been on lay-up and I wanted to relicense it so I had to tow it to Vicom for the inspection. I contacted Mike the night before the day I planned to take the bike for inspection, and he told me that he will arrive around 12pm the next day.

 

The next day, Mike, along with Yana, arrived on time. They were friendly (a fresh change from the usual brash nature of people in the bike industry) and worked very fast. Within 30 mins of my meeting them, I got a call from them saying that Vicom stated that they would not carry out the inspection as their records state that I'm not due for inspection (LTA states that I needed to). As I did not want to take up any more of Mike & Yana's time, I just asked them to bring the bike back.

 

After checking with LTA and Vicom (whose manager handled the miscommunication very badly), I found out that I still needed to send the bike for inspection. I told Mike & Yana about it and they were able to come to my rescue within the hour itself to make another trip to vi. I truly appreciate the concessions that they have made for me. Thank you so much!
