hi bros, getting my jupiter soon. just wana check how much did you all paid for the tuebless tyres? Where can i get the front basket with cover? thks

When from gear 1 and going to gear 2, kick up the gear shifter slightly harder. If you kick it too soft, will go to neutral instead. For gear 2 to neutral, tap the gear shifter softly. Kicking it too hard will drop it to gear 1 instead. Geddit?

The thing is, no matter how hard i kick up, often it will still go neutral. Nw i use step the thing behind hard for easier shifts even though it helps just a little bit. It will have the tektektek sound when it is unable to shift up from neutral.

Hmm. Try adjusting your clutch biting point perhaps?

Yes. But very hard to get stock. Racingboy still testing the market. Have yet to go on full production & mass produce it.

Lim Ah Wan .. What is the stress level that Jupiter can take ?

. Can I ride 110km/h for 2 hours non-stop ( forget about the fuel-tank capacity first )

. If I ride that up to KL, how frequent should I stop, and how long should I rest the bike ?

To Give away: SHAD 33 Box with base bracket.

My advice will be never ever full throttle a bike for long time. Open the most 3/4. This is something I never fail to practice on all my bikes as I do not wanna stress it by pushing it to the limits for long duration. To me, bikes are like us. They need their rest too. One advice I got from a seasoned tourer was that have breaks of 30-45min after every 60-90min ride. You can go all out also but your engine/electrical components will wear & tear faster.

For example if your engine oil is too hot, it will fry your magnetic coil as your magnetic coil depends on it to cool it down. I had several friends riding S4 who went to KL & come back, riding at speeds of 140-160kmh all the way non-stop. After a month plus, 2 of them suffered faulty magnetic coils.

I hope you have converted your tyres to tubeless so in case touch wood anything happens, you can seal off the puncture & continue with your journey.

Just take your time. Don't rush! :)

Bro how bout the difference in power..

To me changing just the CDI will not change much. The bike will still feel laggy & underpowered compared to Spark. I feel it is because Jupiter MX are using wider rims & tyres + the rear disc setup which makes it alot more heavier, therefore the lagging feeling when you blast open your throttle. The plus point of wider rims & tyres is that the bike feels more stable than Spark.

I had a friend who used to ride an X1R and he had once installed aftermarket rims same width as to what you guys riding Jupiter are using and he felt the same as you guys. The same lagging feeling. He sold of his rims and used normal rims & his bike no longer faced the problem.

So since I had some riders who PMed me asking how to get rid of this laggy feeling, my opinion will be to get rid of your wide rims & use aftermarket rims that were meant for Spark & X1R. Their width for the rear is 1.85 instead of the ones you alll are using now which is 2.5. It weighs much lighter. But take note you will lose out on the great stability. Other than that, change the rear sprocket to 40 or 41 instead of the stock 39. This is my sole opinion. You guys are free to share your views. :)

For now nope. I suggest you wait first. The price MIGHT drop once it goes on full production, similar to what happened for the Spark digital meter when it first came out. :)

I saw lim ah wan have a digital meter yesterday but I not sure what brand is it.

That's the Uma/Koso digital meter for Jupiter. But it's reserved by another fellow rider. :)

No lah who debating. Was just saying. :p

Chain tensioner also people wanna steal? Or drop bro? A friend of mine used to have it and due to vibration, the screws will sometimes loosen a little. But if you park and see have, the next day come back dont have, then that one confirm stolen ah!

Mr lim ah wan u still have the plug and go kit?

Yes I do. Feel free to PM.
