how come my one month old jupiter to speed only 110kmh?

Just tested on my ride after complete my running in.

Service with Motul 300V. Original Oil filter.

The FC is like 40-43km/L.

All in stock condition without any modification.

High speed at 120km/hr as the stock CDI I believe there is a powercut as it couldn't go any further.

my jupiter 37km/lt is it got prob?

Riding the old Spark 135 clutch version, after changing piston, my run-in period, never above 80km/h, i got 56km/l.

with the average speed of 80-90km/h now I'm getting 40-48km/l.

anyhow whack will be 3Xkm/l, conservative pickup and cruise can easily get 45km/h

Btw, too wide a tyre creates more drag, too thin a tyre limits your cornerability.

just 2 rupiah worth.

one more question is abt my bike need pump air weekly...one week abt run 400km only...is it normal?

I can't say much about this, cause I'm sparkie, not jupiter.

Too high a pressure ensures low rolling resistance thus achieving better Fuel consumption, however bear in mind that with the high pressure, your contact point of the rubber to the tarmac is much lesser compared to a lower pressure.

As there is lesser contact area, the FC is much better.

Advise not to pump up the tyres when the road is wet, or at nights, as the grip might not be the best.

underflating tyres also not good, as the optimal rolling resistance is not achieved.

Can see your tyres side wall for the suggested pressure, or you could do trial and error with a range of pressures that most suit you, your pillion and your bike.

Tubed tyre also lose air more easily compared to tubeless.

and don't scrimp on tyres, they are your only contact with the tarmac :)

How's your acceleration?

Did you max out the throttle easily?

Quite fast, Jupiter's speedometer is more accurate than Spark's too.

So I reckon it could be the cruising speed straining the Engine.

As I think that you're still on stock sprocket setup too.

ok thanks bro...try fc again pump 3.8lt run 140km only...mean 35km/lt

Could be your tank is not really full to the brim too.

Do you just throw the nozzle into the tank and press until the lever springs back and stop?

if so, it's not full.

I'm the one who always pumps slow and steady till near brim.
