Tried to start my bike this morning. A few crank usually will start the bike. But today it crank and that's it. Bike unable to start. Don't know if battery is the problem. Light is working fine. Signal light is okay. Only the horn. Very very soft sound. Tried to crank again. Now no crank sound at all. And neutral light. On and off at times. Just leave the bike for a day without starting. Cant be battery dead.

Is it battery issue ? Anyone .

Thanks

When was the last change of battery? Normally if the horn is soft, its an indication u battery is flat

Done. Managed to jumpstart it. Now bike running fine . Light still shining bright and horn is all back to normal. Can crank after off the bike.

So is the battery dead or do i need to charge it as often ?

Battery best renew every 18months...

old battery will drain faster, meaning need frequent charge to stay strong..

if you did not use your bike for a few days with an old battery, chances are high that the battery get flat,

worst if you got alarm or other system that uses power during bike idle...

signal and indicate light uses very little power...evern they light up do not mean that the crank is OK..

These info only apply on battries...alternator (re-charging play a part too)

Thanks bro. I currently attached my bikekeys together with carkey. Mech say might be the chip from the both keys that unable the bike to start at that period of time. Advise to attach only one keys. Not sure if what he say is true. Im aware of the chips in our keys

Now voltage then on bike. 12.1v.

Start iddling 13v slowly to 14v.

When engine start moving. Alternator will turn and charge the battery.

Normally engine running voltage 13.5~14.5v meaning altenator is working and OK.

If engine stop after few hour measure the battery if less than 12v then battery is gone. Normally strong/new battery will give 13~13.5v when engine stop.
