bmwbike 014.jpg

Hi all,

There is a BMW bike parked in at condo parking lot in KL locked up for more than 10 years with a Singapore registered No.

The so called owner is believed to be a Singaporean who lived in one of the condos.

Efforts to contact the owner have failed. Not sure if he is still alive.

The bike is a sore sight.

Did a basic check and found out that the registration no. on the bike and the chassis no. dont match with the LTA records.

If it is indeed a stolen bike, it should have been reported, then legally it now belongs to the insurance company.

Any one know how to get information on who the insurance company is and how to contact them to return the bike. The bike still looks new although with 10 years of dust on it barely 25K on the meter. The parts can be sold off.

Have written to LTA who have not responded. Any help appreciated

The insurance company finaly reverted that they want nothing to do with this bike.

It seems that they have handed the COB to a another company who also do not want this. Looks like this is going to be abandoned after all.

If any Singaporean is interested, they may wish to take the bike back to and re register the bike or sell the parts for scrap.

Contact me if interested for the details
