MEZ1 is said to be jurassic age tyres .. any reason why metzeler is still standing by it .. ? shouldn't they just scrap it n move on to a better version.

It it ain't broke, why fix it? If a design is good, it can last quite a while until newer generation bikes start "out performing" the current range of tires.

so many ppl with so many diff views... anyway, what is the best pair of tyres for my GSX400? been thinking of getting pirellis, but lost at which one to get... diablo, dragon, evo?...

I heard that the Diablo is as grippy as the Corsa but longer lasting. If you've tried it, let me know. :)

hiya dude, i have make some notes on Diablo, perhaps this is a more accurate info i gather.

as u know the Pirelli Super COrsa series ranges from the following

Super Corsa

Super Corsa 1

Super Corsa 2

Super Corsa 3 (rear)

the current Diablo Corsa replaces Super Corsa, this explains why it last longer compare to SC1,2 and 3

I have already seen it in action, seems good to me, bugger on the '99 R6 was pushing very hard udring most of his hour session. :p

Was he riding a grey R6 with a Micron system?

If he's there on Thursday with a patched up leathers and black Arai Helmet, his name is David. You can talk to him. He's a friend of mine. He use to ride with Dunlop GPR tyres.

It was an old GSXR 400 white with patched up paint work. He did a 1'56" before moving to a R6. He was using #28 while I was using #26.

yup, thats the same guy....

I told him he'll do well if he changed to a R6 since it suits his riding style rather than getting a 750.

He is doing below 1'50". I'm glad for him. He'll surprise other usual riders.

Gerry Looi Motorcycles is selling a Metzeler Repair Kit. I think it is less than $20.

The definition of a man’s character is not when he is on top….. it is on how he picks himself up EVERY TIME HE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN.

oh yeah, one more thing to note, remember to check the signs "for front use only" "for rear wheel only" when they are about to change.

I've seen incidents whereby motordiam use front tyres for the rear. better check to be sure dude! :D
