Hello there people... I juz came back from my prac 8.01 liao... So first and foremost i list my mistakes on my Riding Assessment Checklist....

• Wobble when moving off/stopping 2 point
  
• Change lane abruptly 4 point
  
• Speed to slow (Defensive mah.. hahaha..) 2 point
  
• Failure to change to correct gear before stopping
  (accidently kick down to neutral instead of gear 1 when stopping) 4 point
  
• 2 x Failure to check blindspot.. (oww.. This one very common...) 2x4 point
  
• Fail to look out for traffic on side road 2 point
  

Total Demerit Points: 22 points (fail)

Opps... Not forgetting..

Run off course for plan (a.k.a drop from plank) IMMEDIATE FAILURE

 

This is my 2nd attempt liao... 1st attempt fail because of same reason also.. PLANK!!

 

I'm planning to book an SP session one day, and practice plank for the whole session.. Haiz... Really need to do something about my plank..

Can't stop dreaming about my future bike.. (SP... SP... ) Hahaha...

So, any tips to offer guys??

hmm.. actually there's another section in chatterbox on driving centres.. u can go there look for tips actually.. haha.

 

for wobbling.. just turn more throttle when u moving off..

 

change lane abruptly ah.. try to point ur bike at a smaller angle? dun turn ur handlebar when changing lane..

 

speed too slow usually comes during lane changing.. try to accelerate faster.. haha.

 

failure to change to correct gear.. just kick more times to confirm 1st gear..

 

fail to look out for from side road.. when approaching those side roads.. just rmb to turn ur head lor.. haha.

 

plank.. just look forward and far? legs grip the tank. try to maintain ur throttle, use ur rear brake to control the speed.. this is my method.. some ppl play with the clutch to control the speed.. i dun really know how to do that. lol.

 

haha.. good luck for ur 8.01.. i took mine 3 times

so far i found in taman jurong

 

new fairing whole set $70

2nd hand tank $90

Respray 1 colour only $190

 

he qoute me total $350.

Sp riders anybody can help?? My Sp can onli go 80km at half tank.. spend alot on petrol..jus changed pistons and full serviced,but still the same...hope to hear from u guys..thx

[/b] What do u mean by chui? If it means ur fairing like broken off n missing a lot pieces need to patch back using fibre cloth then he charge u new set $70 its a very very good deal. If ur chui is just plain scratches, tank abit dented then total $350 still qte a good deal also.

Hahas i remb its u who told me that its highly recommended that e laquering bring to spray shop to do. That made me change my mind on diy.

:help: my bike settings is gone after i just service it..any shop 2 recommand ??nw trottle need turn so much then b4..valve open at ard 6.5,ideling at 1..
