kokping: FOC. free of charge :D cause my bike's still under 1 month warranty frm HKL.

 

i THINK it's the rectifier. it's about the size of a ciggie box (slightly smaller though) and has a heatsink. something like those you find in CPU..

 

and after taking out my batt and changing a new one.. the mechanic actually said my old batt was still new. so i guess it wasn't charging properly.. not the batt's problem.

 

ChEnZ: hmm if after tuning will i lose speed during pick up? i'm not so much a "clear meter" person. so i don't mind losing a little top end. having the bike coughing at 6th gear at about 80-90 is really irritating. -.-

I've only tested it at the 6th gear, have yet to try the other 5 gears.

or u can say that more 2T is burnt at higher rpm hence more white smoke...

ahaha.. in shorter form, the alternator product ac, rectifier convert ac to dc, regulator control the flow of current. if rectifier is spoil, the symptom is lights dim, spoilt regulator will have very bright lights as no control of the current is done. as a result, the headlight will blow.

oh yes, forgot about the regulator too. i return all these knowledge to my teachers liao haha. soon la, maybe weekend, now that i found a job, i can't be going in that often anymore

ac dc ac dc.. i'm no physics student. haha. got a question to ask.. my current airbox doesn't have a sponge. i'm thinking of taking the air box out to replace with an air filter. i'm not doing it so tht my bike will be louder.. so any recommendations/suggestions? i got quoted $65 at HKL for K&N air filter.. seems expensive. :giddy:

like to find out roughly how much will cost if i change a good brand new

 

Piston & Piston Rings, a new opened Exhaust Pipe(Stomach/Belly) W/O Endcan,

 

a pair of Yoshimura Foot Rest, Bridgestone bt39 SS both F & R,

JB no battalax, dont think have SP belly, and the yoshimura there sucks.

Wa scare me, yesterday just got back from KL.

so, days never start my bike, tried for 20 mins, bike still wont start.

Thought what had happened to my bike..luckily, a fren rescued me...haha

brought an extra spark plug and change it...

 

See my old spark plug, full of 2T...how cum can like tat ah?
