hi everyone....just sold off my sp for a rvf...anyone can advise on the maintainence of the bike???Some more im not used to riding it...got it for a few days...btw,the spray work same as ChenZ bike on the forum....hmmm....any idea how much the cost if put tank bra??any legal fast pipe,price??

if the pipe has been clear b4, will the fuel consuption increase? if it increase anything can b done to make the fuel consuption lower? thanks

this is similar to asking a group of indians whether anyone speaks japanese.

same paintwork as mine eh, but yours faster, lol.

the only thing i know about RVF is that it's very HOT. it has a nickname called the oven. good luck in enduring the heat, it may kill your swimming soldiers, lol.

actually you should ask in the rvf thread, but if you would like, i can try to help. used to ride a rvf last time! and i liked it! ha. anyway, once you are accustomed to the bike, wana go 2nd link? i'll take my nsr there of course.. wana test top :/

speaking about your NSR, something really funny happened today.

my friend who drives a car, told me he saw an SP that did alot of modifications! He said the fuel tank was bigger, and the bike was wider, tires were bigger! And then he said there were 2 exhausts, one was very fake!

here comes the magic moment. I asked him where he saw the bike, he said bukit batok. i asked him again if he snapped a photo, he said yes, but only the rear. And so he showed me the photo. first thing i noticed was... the number plate. FN 9**9A. it was your bike lol. He got screwed by me after that.

u sure he saw my bike? i havent been to bukit batok recently leh? and i dont think i have ever been there with my nsr :/

 

anyway its ok wat, im waiting for some s4 to try blowing me, thinking that im a nsr150 maybe i can have some fun then

yesterday go AGL myself.. smoke problem still persist.. damn.. ah jie teach mi take out the 2t cable before going for inspection.. then in the end PASS.. knn this smoking problem really spend alot of my $$ and time..

Thanks bert , but i've to think about the places to go first , cause i haven't been to alot of places (unless you guys don't mind the "plan on the spot thingy" or bring us new riders around ?) and it's stressful man , with everyone expecting you to come out with the places

Hmm...tink it'll take me a wk or so to acustom to it...and..YES it's damn hot lol.

Hmm...2nd link,i dun mind,nvr been tere b4....seldom go msia,no kakis...btw the speedometer,isit the actual speed shown or is tere any difference like as in the case of sp???.....where can i get foldable side mirrors for rvf??dun like the way it hinders my car passings.....

 

if go msia service rvf worth it??ard how much sg$?

well its a great bike! perfect for sg roads! yeah its the actual speed unless you change sprocket ratios. stock is 15/38. dude, use the rvf stock mirrors. they are very very good! it doesnt hinder you squeezing thru traffic ma, i think you're just not used to it. hope you join us next time for outings! we welcome you! (i do anyway)

 

(btw i dont recommend you to service your rvf in jb)
