This is just a tip from experience..my friend went to AGL to full service. Apparently when doing the full service he also realized his previous owner was using a bigger pinjet, which caused more petrol intake. After full servicing, 2 days later my friend was cruising along the road at 120km/h when the bike just stalled. The next day, i received a msg that his bike had created some probs and when he checked with the local workshop, the mech in spore told him that his piston ring was the incorrect size, and his conrod was bent.

Moral of the story, think twice before servicing in malaysia..especially sp, cos they dont have sp manufactured in JB. Engine parts are best left to the locals =)

let's say, should we go thailand and service our bike there? since SP are made there. they got most parts ba? :huohuo: :huohuo:

and then gear three change at 5rpm.

well its not really true that if u go AGL service, it will not be reliable

 

the mech was probably dishonest to ur friend, perhaps u shld share e shop's name here

 

personally when i rode SP last time, I had my piston and piston rings changed in AGL...no prob after that at all...many of my friends too, some of them from this thread too

 

at e end of e day, if u want cheap stuff u muz be prepared to take some risks

yeah i agree. once upon a time i rode a SP, i would let no one except khm do my bike. i have no complains, except once when the indian mech from ah hao messed up my bike.

11pm, but last order is at 9.45pm or 10pm, i can't remember

latest 8pm at white house must meet for pizza, otherwise too late after factoring in jams and etc.

hmm..the shop at AGL is ramesh..the onli all indian shop..usually u see all the indians there..i onli go there for decarb cos its cheap..35RM..other than that neva do anything there..haha..lucky me didnt full service there

hey..i staying arnd blk 249 area..my place also got 3 sp at the carpark.. but if u wan count all the uncles who ride sp, that would be bout 6 ~ 7 sp..haha.. funni thing is i neva seen any of the you guys bike on the rd.. mine's all black.. totally black =)
