eh that day i was riding according to my meter 80km/h, well sometimes go uphill speed drop to about 70km/h. according to your meter, wat was my speed?? is it too slow for u?

 

anyway when we going there that time u were in front maintain 80km/h?? i think bert and the other two cannot tahan that speed... too slow! wahahaha...

thanks pple.. i think the wounds will heal in ard 1mth's time.. so must go back to public transport again. haha. stitches on the right eye lid, stiff neck, skin gone on my hands, back got hurt, pelvis got bruises, my 'small bro' blue-black, legs are quite fine.. aft this accident.. i will invest in a pair of glove n a tough jacket.. good thing my jacket was still nice.. no tear.. haha.. gloves are impt to me now.. haha.. now needa find money to get the bike back.. yeapz.. one accident won't stop me frm riding again.. haha.. hope to b back real soon..

Hi ppl .....i'm a new SP rider and got a few qns to ask the more experienced ppl out here...

 

1....My bike i buy at S1 motoring and when i buy they neva inclde the erp machine.That tim i new ma so i dunno...den after some time when i realise they say they got no more erp machine n dat cause i never c right at the start....its damn irritating la...cause muz spend another 150 for the erp machine.Any help if i can get erp machine cheap or got chance of arguing wif the shop to put for me ??

 

2.....After i bought my bike i realise my sound qite different and when i ask at S1 they say my chamber empty ...Is that good?? what are the benefits cause i find that my oil consumption is damn damn high compared to my other frens wif normal sp's.

 

3.....I wanna do a full check...Like i wan somebody to open up the whole bike n check wads wrong wif my bike.Cause as do most bikers here shd noe ...when sth is wrong wif ur bike the owner automatically feels it cause i treat my bike like ma baby:D....yeah so how mch will these kinda check cause- Wad da heck is servicing??sorry it may sound dumb to all the riders out there...

 

4.....My bike when i go at arond 140 there its as if the bike is cryin to me to let go of the throttle...thats how irritatin the sound is ....on a normal sp wif the chamber changed...wads the max speed ...and wad to "DO" to mod the bike so that it can go faster.And wad r the pro's n cons...

 

5.....how often do u send ur bikes in for checks or changes and for wad purposes...

 

6......wads the best bt still within budget 2t??

 

7......Any extra tips from the seniors here...

1.Dunno leh.

 

2. Empty chamber,you possibly have a hollow end can as well.Avoid getting caught by our white uncles on the road.Possibly a 300+ - 500+ fine.Alot of factors can affect oil consumption(my sp used to run only 110km+ on full tank),loose piston rings,aftermarket air filter,improper caburettor size,modified exhaust system,improper tuning etc etc.

 

3.You may join some of the fellow SP riders to m'sia AGL for a full service and checking.Trustable and quite wallet friendly.

 

4.Faster bike? Top speed or pick up? Bigger sprocket size for better pick up,smaller for better top.Install boosters,Use a bigger sized caburettor,'Tong' your exhaust(which is already done in your case),smaller rear tyre size,use domino throttle etc etc.

 

5.Every 2-3months change new engine oil,every 6 months full servicing.

Self checks are 2t oil level,brake pads if they're near finish or not,chain tension and condition of the sprocket's teeths.

REMEMBER to check your 2t at least once a week.I had a fren who rode his SP and within 1 week had piston jam(reason:nv check and top 2t)

 

6.Castrol R2 or Esso 2T Gold are budget and good enough.I'm using motul 710.

 

7.Extra tips: Don't be easily taunted by other 'racers' on the road.

your bike is still at the custom carpark there. we didn't manage to see it. think after we left just now they were planning to go tow it back.

don't think there's a need to change new eo every 2-3mths. maybe twice a year is more suitable. afterall, the eo acts as a gear oil and there isn't a need to use that good gear oil. well, someone pple love to give the best to their sp (which is crap and turns out to be quite wasteful) so if they have money why stop them from contributing to the economy.

 

it is hard to physically check for 2T. if your 2T is running low, the red oil light on the tachometer will light up. your fren's case probably the 2T intake is too little, or maybe the 2T light spoil, or maybe the 2T pump spoil (in the case of SGGH) or maybe he just wack too hard.

 

and i don't think it's that easy to see the brake linings, chain tension and sprocket teeth condition. if u just got your bike, then do the pre-ride checks as taught to you in the driving centres. bring it to a trusted mech and let him check the rest.

dude, gloves are damn important right from the start! too bad i learnt it the hard way. didn't expect u to learn it the hard way too... so lesson learnt ok. when u going to get your gloves that time let me know, we go buy together, my current pair is quite tattered liao.

 

 

u can go back and fcuk them cos IU is standard equipment on all singapore registered vehicles. although the law on this is written in such a way that it is not an offence not to have a IU, well if u buy a bike without IU is like buying a bike without the front tyre or without the chain or without the fuel tank, etc. anyway the $152.90 that u spent on the IU is fair money. u will need to use the IU in due time, and new IU got five year warranty, which is good becos most IU don't last that long when exposed to the elements anyway. most of those IU on the sp now are past warranty, it will spoil anytime, and then u got to pay the same amount of $$$ anyway to get a new one. so might as well get a new one then at the end of the 4th year make it spoil and use the warranty to get a new one totally free.

well i am more cheapo la. i accidentally dirtied my bike then i see argh no cloth i look at the fireblade parked beside me looked inside the speedo . ah saw a cloth and take it to clean my bike. since take liao might as well keep. i know cloth $1 only but i damn lazy to go buy la haha. next time ur cloth missing dont say its me. coz i got 2 cloths on my bike now :smile:
