redz: im also not sure how the reserve coolant works. according to mech, it doesnt even regulate back into the radiator shuld it run low on coolant. but just top it within the limits lor since manual says gotta top up.

 

guys, do be aware when u ride these days. police op everywhere. road blocks, tp/qx patrol everywhere and anytime. went by 2 road blocks within a trip, but i was taking NR bus la! lol...

Hi SP riders.. I m seriosly facing a big problem, my SP i gt 3 days ago drinking 12 ~ 15Km/L, this is like a car.. I need your advice guys.. what should I do...??? I dint go fast also, just normal 100 ~ 110km/hr only. the tyre pressure also F:200kpa, R:230kpa.

Hey guys, Need to know some pricing. I suspect my front brake disc is warped, because the braking is jerky.(I just changed the brake pad recently)

 

So I will like to know how much it will cost to change the brake disc? Do I need to change other things other than the brake disc?

may be your steering cone. not your disc. a new disc cost around 70 or 80 from ah boy if i remember correctly.

chander_vr: erm..let mechanic check ur bike. get a shop with friendly nice mech, ask them wads wrong as ure new to the bike. if they just say 'sportsbike is like that' try other shops. also could be due to ur pumping habits.

go to a mech tell him ur prob. he will check ur main jet (whether are u using a jet that is bigger than stock), block (to see whether its potted) and ur tuning.

after one yr owning my nsr i still dun know how the clutch plates actually work in the housing...

i mean how it changes gear and all..

any of u noe the sites which explains clearly? curious to learn...haha...after one yr..

cause my bike, got some faulty parts..

cut my mudgaurd, no brake lights for my rear brake pedal, no screw for plate no,white smoke and operated pipe..

Inspection CONFIRM Pass by HKL charge u 45 dollars they will screw in a fake mudguard,lend u a orginal pipe and than do wat ever deem fit tat it will pass inspection....

For my problem in braking jerky, the steering cone wont be a problem because I just service them, and the brake pad is after the steering cone.

 

So it can be the wheel bearing or the brake disc? How to identify which one is it, or have to go to the mechanic to check to confirm?
