it's ok to change the EO yourself, but do dispose the drained EO from your bike properly.

really bad to throw this kind of chemical into our environment.

guys.

i fell on my way to work this wet morning. actually i dunno what happened, when i braked the rear tyre went bonkers and next thing i know, i'm down on the road.

anywayz, now i need to bring the bike to workshop as the alignment is already off. wondering if anyone has any idea how much it is, and whether AGL is able to align back my bike.

for anyone else who have skidded or fell before, any advice on what other things i need to check my bike afterwards?

thank god i only got superficial wounds to my left elbow and knee. :giddy:

during wet road u shld not press so much of ur rear brake ma it will risk of fish tailing.... btw AGL can bring back ur allignment of ur fork and frame.... If i am not wrong...

Best is to bring to a reputaable mech to check out ur bike...

actually my main aim was juz to learn how much EO to top.

coz the last time i put 1L liaoz still dun see any oil level at the glass gauge. i did put the bike straight.

then i added another half a bottle..

then when i started moving off with the bike.. like no strength like tat

ended up draining some engine oil.

so lesson learnt.. 700ml of EO.. lol

anyway ..

wads the proper way to dispose EO ?

store it in a air tight container into the dust bin ?

tat was wad i did last time.

800ML..

dispose it at bike shops. they have oil drums which disposal companies collect and dispose off properly.

there's no way you should dispose it in public bins or areas.

if you wanna learn, just ask the mechanic when he's changing your EO.

usu there is engraved on the engine or some sticker or at least it is written in the manual about how much eo to be put, there's really no need to trial and error.

disposal of eo pls follow fnee advise.

alright ah. quite bored. haha. I miss outings. i miss 99 bends. i miss my sp the most.

when the bike falls on the ground, there is a high chance that the alignment has went off. after that :

- you should see if there are any leakages of any fluid.

- check your disc brakes

- check your pro arm

- check your handlebar

- check your radiator
