hi guys,

 

i'm new to this forum....and just got my SP for less than a month

so far the bike never give me problem, and it is indeed a very good bike

 

just had a problem recently... whenever i rider slowly (ie. stuck in traffic jam) the temperature went up to half the bar...

but when i ride fast, the bar is back to normal pos (slightly above the C)

 

any idea what the problem might be?

khai82kz: having black/dusty rims is normal.. if its black oil stains = from chain lube, dusty stains = from ur disc brake, long never wipe = mixture of both.

 

normally i just use newspaper to wipe, very clean already. its proven newspaper cleans better than cloth. haha.

 

mpektongzn: temp wise for my bike max it'll go is the halfway mark. it would be wise to check ur radiator coolant level.

maybe it make from his own factory, maybe kio from scrapyard, maybe is other bike radiator, etc etc

oh to satisfy your curiousity.. it's a original SP (KW6) radiator. anyway why would ah boy wanna cheat me of $10? he's a millionaire although he's selling the cheapest bike accessories in SG.

i wonder why when i start bike, the engine normally run awhile then die? is it because the air intake too little? must use choke then ok de. somemore the bike i only park there 2hrs come back also must use choke leh. anyone?

anyone hav any idea hw much is it to bend back the nsr "heaD"?coz my nsr head slightly bent to the left,makin it difficult for me to turn the handle bar right to the fullest

have u turned ur fuel tap to reserve already or not?? dats the only way to know that u have reached reserve..

you must make sure your insurance period covers or exceeds the period of your road tax . check both the dates ?

My rear rim will only be dirty if the stupid 2T keep spraying out...not much problem frm the chain because i use those fully synthetic chain lube...

Fully synthetic chain lube? That's news to me..Care to share the brand and price of it?

here's a scenario to help u:

 

ur road tax expires in sept 2007 and ur insurance expires on feb 2008. in sept u have to renew ur road tax for another 6 months which will make it expires on march 2008. however ur insurance coverage is until feb 2008 only. so u r unable to renew it. wat u can do is u extend ur insurance coverage for just another month to march 2008, from den on u can renew both insurance and road tax at one shot.

hahaha... nguoren. dont forget when i was travelling 100-120 u are travelling at 130-160 already loh. of coz ur mileage might seem more coz ur meter really very not accurate

i went for 2a lesson 1 already.

 

and when i was parking my bike i saw a person on a cbr1000 fireblade go into the centre with me. i was thinking maybe car. but he went for class2a lesson1 instead... next week i go buy 2a bike le. wth

i think it's normal bah.. bcos when jam, less air flow in.. so temp darn high.. i came in checkpoint jam, temp shot up near max.. (around noon time) wakao.. scare me sia..

 

then later at BKE, the temp go down when the speed goes up.. then after half distance temp only 1/3 nia...

I dont tink so that his fuel consumption so low even though he use the smallest oil jet...becoz i tried b4 my best FC is 270km wifout reserve....Wif reserve is almost 300km..

longer? i think it depends on who is in the wrong ma. sometimes they take SLIGHTLY longer to process due to investigation.. its all the same actually. govt or whatever. its not as if you cant claim or anything..
