anyone went to buy castrol r2 at LAB or regina recently, today i went there and they sae the price now is $14 per bottle.... summore the packaging now is "castrol power1 racing". the gal claimed the packaging change liao from the grren colour bottle to this and name also change.... just wanna ask u all if it is true?

 

i also go buy. gold colour bottle castrol power 1 racing. i bought one today. $13 leh.

haha most prob they out of stock for the R2 den juz say it's the same la... sales tactics... the R2 got 2 kinds.. europe 1 is 14 msian 1 is 13... aiya LAB the pricing depends on mood 1.. maybe use some of ur manly charm on her!!!! she looks like the female version of ah boy ma.. haha

AGL full service = 70rm for the workmanship , changing of EO n spark plugs count seperately =]

 

pressing of front fork also 70rm at AGL

you don't have to change your gear oil every month lah... sparkplug maybe change by mileage 5,000km instead of by month. do keep a spare in your bike for emergency. and unless you are lacing and doing 10,500rpm all the time, no need to use very good 2T, just those normal semi-syn ones will do.

u mean leak from where? the endcan muffler there? or leaking at the bottom of the stomach? if it is leaking at the endcan there, which should be black in colour may seem tat ur 2t intake is set too big, go to the shop and adjust the intake.

 

if leaking at the bottom of the stomach maybe coz of the stomach have hole, can weld back if bring to shop. or it may be the pipe header gasket give way already, gasket can be changed and very cheap.

 

if the 2t that leak is fresh 2t( not burnt ), means sumthing wrong with the 2t pump or tube, must brign to shop and do....

no leh... its nt leakin from muffler... its leakin from the front of the endcan... dun tink is because of loose screw or wat... i went to the mech before to deal with tis but den its still leaking:cry:

yeah it's stated in the newspaper castrol change packaging.. the 2T excess at ur endcan tip is sure have one... those not burn finish 2T will remain there but dun think it will drip very vigorously.

may b i suggest u to remove fairing temporary.. then u can see better where leaking... so how long doesn't this happen liao?? b4 tat everything okay??

 

my bike one time leak petrol from carb.. after servicing from Xing Hock and Planet.. dunno why.. the leaking happened for 2-3 month.. intermitance, so i dun bother, bcos i can shut of the petrol knot.. then okay..and somehow it's okay now.. so i realy duno why..

sometimes i see some bikes, wahlaueh! never open valve also 2t smoke so much i suppose they are using ubercheap 2t or sth. oh well.

i can c where the leakage is from... its at the point where the pipe is connected to the endcan... dun tink is nt screwed tight enough... issit because it is a used endcan? i bought it 2ndhand from forum:cheeky:

use castrol power racing(previously known as castrol R2), Motorex or Esso gold.. all are fully syn 2T.. if u wan budget use moto elf 2T lor.. dun ever use those from petrol kiosk.. those i mention in spore less than $15 can get alr.. go LAB or Regina.. ur smoke too much may be due to ur 2T setting too big.. go to a bike shop n ask the mech set for u lower 2T intake.. i hope this infor can help u..
