ai sehz

2 digits is a small price to pay in return for safety wor

anyway since the mech serviced the mechanism for u already...why still wan to change the whole thing??

think common brake pads like SBS...if want better and more expensive then take EBC HH

hrmz

last time accompany my friend to HKL to change brake pads...asked for EBC but they told us EBC pads dont have sizes for kips

does EBC HH pads have sizes for SP?

anyway another brand which can try is GOLD

works fine for both my friends who are using it now

oh ya...depends how bad is your flickering...cause i ask my mech about it..he said its normal to flicker abit...when you rev your engine...it will grow brighter right? then just leave there will sort of be dimmer right? thats normal...if it never flicker mean you rectifier really got problem liao...as its not sending power to your bike

i agree w/ zlord that it's normal for all the lighting of the bike to flicker when bike is in neutral gear

and as for lights flickering in gear 1....do u mean when yr bike moving at gear 1 or when yr bike is at stationary but in gear 1???

as for the bike dying off problem

could be due to various reasons:

worn out spark plug

idling too low

carb tuning settings wrong

worn out engine parts e.g con rod, etc

i set it around 1.1-1.2k

check your bike?

1. empty tank?

2. engine on/off switch

3. neutral?

it may seem weird, but i know some ppl who never notice that the on/off switch is off...

if all seems okay, try turning off engine switch and kick maybe like 10 times (without throttling)

then turn it on again and kick see if can start or not

works for me..

idling rpm can be in the region between 1-1.5k

anything higher than that in order to prevent yr bike engine frm dying off means something is wrong liaoz

think it's time u send or push yr bike to motordiam liaoz

for all u know...it may just take a change of sparkplug then yr problem might be solved??

try increasing you idle speed...if it doesn't help...then its time to change your spark plug liao...these are the two main reasons

actually headlight flickering not much of a problem ma.. u put rpm too high, also wasting petrol.. but of course little petrol is wasted. but den back to the point... i dun see the lights flickering as a problem when on neutral.. cos when u move off, its gonna be stable liao.

it will still flicker...anyway let me tell you this...if your headlight don't flicker...thats where you have to be even more worried about...cause it means your rectifier got problem liao !!! your rectifier not sending power to your bike liao !!! if flickering alot might be just due to weak battery...which doesn't really cause much hazard...

the qns is how high u hafta set yr idling to in order for yr lights to not flicker

3k? 4k?

or simply re-wirethe headlight lor...make it directly take electricity frm the battery and bypass the rectifier or smth

but not recommended lar
