actually u can bargain with the shop to give u a new paintwork when buying a bike... but the price is already included when u buy the bike just that u cant see it. we label it as hidden cost! lol

There's a few shops that provide u free paintwork. Its how u bargain with them.

Somehow i look back i think the days on SP was one of the best. When petrol runs wasn't that economical, i still went over so often. When i was near broke i still could afford riding. When SG mechs chop me for repairs i could still choose to service in JB. When it was raining and i didn't had rain coat i still ride without rain coat in the rain. When fatter bikes couldn't make it to the front, the SP did. Haha.. With the SP the world was within my reach and everything was possible. Now no longer riding SP le... the more i ride the slower i get on SG roads.. Haha... Enjoy your rides, SP riders The day will come when many of you sell your SP for a bigger bike, and then you will really feel a lot of nostalgia, of all those happy moments spent on your first bike, and you almost wished you didn't have to sell/trade it in. For guys who been through NS, trading in your SP that day is like ORD. You look forward to the day so much, but when it happen, you remember all those moments in army, in bmt, when the toughest days were the most rewarding.

f u wana design ur own helmet, 1st u must buy ur own helmet then send to a person who knows how to make it. I know of people who can do airbrush on a helmet for 150. Alternatively, check out garage sales. there is someone who does airbrush.

Nope. Its not la. It all voice down on how u ride ur sp la. And how discipline u are in taking good care of ur sp. Applies to all bikes too.

zalchiko, the wear and tear parts is die die have to change one. Sprockets and chain, tyres, EO, batt and rectifier usually within your one year of riding likely to need changing. Over the course of a year, you can expect to spend $500 to 1k for servicing/repairs. Thats if you're lucky that nothing major spoils. As it is, many of us SP riders are first year OTR, and likely to self skid/accident during thie first year. Those fairings cost about 400 ringgit to respray leh!
