btw guys... what will happen if fail inspection? fine money?

got try change the oil seal or smth?

cause i heard frm mechanic that white smoke possible to be caused by oil seal torn/worn before

if really canot.....then look for motordiam to help u send the bike for inspection lor

in this case...i tink paying them the extra money beats spending even more money trying to solve the smoke problem on yr own

bro

if possible

try to borrow the $$ frm yr parents or friends or smth

cause frm what i see

doing reloan for smaller sums of money e.g frm $2-3k

it's simply bo hua

for example....last time the guy whom i sold my bike to for $2.8k...

he took a reloan of $2k frm a motordiam which we went to...

the remaining $800 he pay me by cash

so the motordiam did the reloan for him and charged him a agreement fee for it

the agreement fee they let him choose between 2 packages:

takeup a 2nd party insurance + agreement fee $150

OR

takeup a 3rd party insurance + agreement fee $250

either way...the amt he has to pay for the insurance + agreement fee would be in the region of $600-$700

this is not taking into acct the ownership transfer fees to paid

let's assume that the transfer fee + paperwork fee will come up to $100

and furthermore...the interest rate back then was 8%

so meaning end of the day...on the spot he has to pay:

$800 + $700 + $100 = $1600

and to add on to the $1600, he still need to come up w/ mthly installments to pay for the loan of $2k + 8% interest

conclusion:

1. imagine this guy started off wanting to pay by installments...meaning he doesnt really have lottsa cash to start off w/ already...and he has to come up w/ $1600 on the spot

2. he could have simply tried to borrow money frm other sources...and paid me $2.8k + $400 for 3rd party insurance + $50 for transfer fee and the bike is his w/o having to worry over mthly installments

3. much as pple would like to claim that agreement fees can be neogotiated or even eliminated upon discussion w/ motordiam...i personally think that it's hard enough to find a motordiam out there that's willing to do reloan for pte seller-pte buyer kind of transactions already...u still want to argue w/ them over this and that?? if the motordiam insist on the agreement fee payment...are u able to locate another motordiam out there that's willing to give a similar amt of loan + w/o agreement fees?? pls note that i had a really hard time calling up motordiams before i finally found one that's willing to do a $2k loan for FT plate SP...the rest of the shops either dont do reloan for pte seller-pte buyer transactions or offer a much lower loan e.g $1k

so.. :goodluck: bro...pls also take note that the above mentioned encounter of mine is w/ reference to ard 1year ago :bouncefire:

if buy frm motordiam depend on whether u wan to pay by installment or cash liao lor

if paying by installment...the amt of charges u need to pay are the same as mentioned in my earlier post...juz that now...the bike is not frm pte seller...but is frm motordiam itself

for me...my style has always been buy frm pte sellers due to:

1. i've seen enough of cases of friends who kena chop carrot head by the motordiam

2. motordiam prices will always be higher than prices quoted by reasonable pte sellers (refering to machine price only)

3. i dont like the idea of letting motordiam earn money by selling me their bikes & in addition...earn somemore money by charging for paperwork fees etc

4. shorter waiting time required if i were to go process the paperwork (ownership transfer + insurance) myself

5. im a low budget person...so if doing things myself can lower cost...i would do it

:cheeky:

haha

same as what i think

that day saw one kips

the headlight got one sticker that attempts to make the single headlight look like double headlight like SP

dont think it looks nice.....although it does achieve the effect of making it look like a pair of eyes.....but the eyes not big enough or as fierce as SP one
