when the engine starts to feel weak and die off....then it's time to change over to use fuel frm reserve tank liaoz~

:goodluck:

anyway the fuel gauge meter may not always be accurate

so juz try to finish up yr main tank of petrol

then when go into reserve...hopefully a petrol kiosk is nearby

:cheeky: :cheeky:

dont really need hope lah, reserve at least can go 50-60km, which is enough go from west to east or vice versa

even on the move also not really that dangerous, it wont just die off so fast, if will start to slowly die off, just have to calmly switch on the reserve knob and its ok liao

dude. You should concentrate on learning how to handle yr new bike for now rather than asking around to improve the performance.

As u mentioned, its yr new bike, a big leap from the 4-strokes u get to use from driving centers.. not to mention the riding posture. Get use to the power and handling before u try to improve the performace.

ar.... was studying in australia for a while. had a sp there... so it isn't excactly my first bike.. just my first bike in singapore. in australia i left my sp totally stock including even minor customisation just as screws because most of the bikes there all dua gus so no one cater to sp.

been riding for about 3-4yrs....

anyway, thanks for all the advice given... i will consider all the suggestions. is there a one stop motordiam which caters to all these modifications? such as tyres, spark plugs, sprockets?

then where is the cheapest to change the back tire? dunlop tt900... hkl? or any other cheaper place? should choose 110/70/17 or 120/80/17? which is better? need comments from u guys... how about rear brake disc also, $110 cheap for original brake disc?

NSR150SP -> Wave 125S ->CB400Spec II -> R607 -> DRZ400SM -> CB400Spec II -> Ducati Monster 400 -> Suzuki Swift/Gilera ST200 -> Colt Version R -> Jazz GD1 -> ???

do you intend to race or for normal road riding?? cos if you intend to do some racing ...change TT 900 better cost ard 110 at my bike shop...but recently I changed to the original tire cos lack money..cost $20 and is good enough for normal riding..

FYI, 110/70-17 is a FRONT tyre used for rear.

Stick with yr stock profile of 120/80-17 for SP.

icic.. in that case.. i suggest you do a few things to make yr bike's handling better.

Maybe spend some money on a new set of brake lines. HEL is a good brand.

Better response to braking

Good set of tyres

HKL is known for cheap tyres...take the smaller tyre if you want faster speed, bigger for cornering and stability
