To the positive terminal of the battery. Best to use a terminal lug instead of bare wire.

 

Do NOT connect Gen 1 (old) IU to the fusebox! If u connect the wire to the fusebox such that the IU is powered only when u switch on ur ignition, a cashcard that is inserted before turning on the ignition will NOT be detected.

 

In other words, u will be fined for not inserting a cashcard.

the IU is still working? and the battery is still using up by the IU unit?

 

Connect the positive end to the output of the headlight fuse, below the fusebox. The diagram can be found inside the fusebox cover. Either solder and heatshrink, or use a splice terminal. Try not to use black tape as it will become sticky and trap water if not wrapped properly.

 

hmm, not the ignition fuse? instead we connect to headlight fuse? just to clarify it.thanks! :)

If this happens, wait for the letter. DO NOT jam brake - or an accident is waiting to happen! To avoid the wire coming loose, use a terminal lug ...

 

it happen to fast,then just suddenly jam brake lo. lucky no vehicle are behide.

btw, the terminal lug those kind can slot in the wire, but the metal is to hard to clip onto the wire leh. any suggestion?

last week i also have The same problem for My IU.. No light No effect... then starting i I think SIAO already.. Must spend 100+ again :(... cause I Knw My IU got problem.. Then when down to IU inspection unit. The mech just replace a Fuse for me cost me only $5.00+ to get my IU back to Life...

 

Thx for letting me know this.. MY IU also like no light or life after i put in cash card which i know is working.

IU only works or display when a cashcard is inserted, if not it would just be in sleep mode.

 

Even if u insert the cashcard in, disconnect the positive wires and then reconnect back, it doesnt wake up until u reinsert the cashcard back in.

 

Just connect the positive to the battery, it doesnt use much power..

 

Terminal lug can be purchase from SLT aka Sim Lim Tower, there's another kind of open end lug..

 

Shrink wrap wise..I got mine from r/c store, just get the right size for the terminal lug, slide into the wires, clamp the wires onto the terminal lug, position the shrink wrap so that he covers up the lug clamp area, use hair dryer to heat it and it will shrink..

however according to camel, he say free if within certain period of time.

The new Ezlink card is only for new IU unit..I already tested on my fren's IU, doesnt matter which directional u insert it...Schedule to start in the 2nd Q of 2009 which means in Apr..

 

For the IU, it reads the gold plate found on your cashcard..Thus new ezlink card wont work..

btw those who frequent jb bike shop.. after the msia custom come out is shell..

 

then from there how u go the ah gua lane there? go the right side road?(dont go down) then all the way until the t-junction right right? where petronas is.. then go agains the 1way traffic to ah gua lane?

 

 

is this the way ah? this is wat i tot of la.. i haven try and dun dare to try oso scare sekali wrong ho sey.. i dont know the way one..

 

i always exit shell.. go down then filter left.. then exit jalan wong ah fook, then before Esso turn left then go back the old route we usually go where the shell is then go up the middle lane..
