i use to change my gearoil and plugs together once every 2 months...

it's pretty up o individuals leh

but then if u were to change gear at 4K RPM

perhaps u can lower yr fuel consumption by abit :smile:

i mostly ard 5rpm... sometimes 6-7 den change gear.. in the long run engine will siong tio anot ah ??

sparkplug u wanna change ideally if u're using those normal ones like ngk, ngk-r...around 3k to 4k can change

in fact up to 5k also no prob

if u really wanna noe how long ur plugs can last, u can try to e max...u can feel on e e-way ur bike jerking that got sporadic backfire sounds...just like crackles

hehe like that even slower than honda wave n cg when u pickup

 

see ur post then rem i forgot to measure..hehe later measure

 

change at 5.5 to feel that little push in power..ride SP le, no doubt u must 'teng' ur bike but sometimes u muz let e bike 'teng2' you

as long as dont go to the red color zone the bike should be able to take it

or when early in the morning u go down and try to start yr bike

after kicking for 10min and the darn thing dont start...it's time to change sparkplug

my previous $4 NGK-R plug lasted me 6000KM only then gaveup on me liao

now experimenting w/ $3 NGK normal plug :cheeky:

dun worry man...a good condition sp should be able to handle high revs...when u get to go 2nd link try...i tink u rev over rpm 8 also feel not enough...:sweat:

 

anyway i not encouraging u to change gear at high rev...but once in a while whack ur bike abit clear carbon also not bad :cheeky:

rough gauge is 5000km...my friend tried 10000km then change also like that...just that his spark plug very hard to take out :sweat:

anyone tried castrol hypoy 90 engine oil and denson normal spark plug.. was charged $22 for them when i changed.. did i kana tock?

Normally I will change at 5-6k rpm, but actually now used to bike le so use 'feeling' lor...feel the engine n listen to sound to determine when to drop/up gear. Anyway sportbikes r made for racing so high rev shld perfectly ok i guess?

 

Planet n combine is 2 gd plc to service SP izzi? Any other recommandation?

try checking castrol website to see whether that oil is good or not good one

mmm i think change at 4 is too slow in pick up liao...

 

i normally change at 6.

 

at 6 ur valve haven even open... its not stressing the engin....

don i went to check le.. its seems quite ok but i need know the price ma.. cause i don want be carrot.. if there i change engine oil too ex i think i will go other shops. so i need some comments from those who changed this oil in singapore before

i thought it opens at around 7, where u can feel ur body start to be pulled backwards..

hi ppl... i juz pass my 2b n intend to get a sp... ytd i went for test ride for de sp... its a late FS plate selling for 2k... when i start de motor de exhaust is lik normal... but i test ride n in gear 3 i go till rpm 5000-6000 den de exhaust lik abit loud?? izzit de bike got modification?? den de fuel tank there oso quite loud... my fren say its normal... but i dunno issit... he told me tat he didnt open stomach oni de-carbonise... will kanna catch by tp... may i noe wads tat?? is 2k a worth? plus the right fairing head abit crack but he mend back... de below fairing ka ta there oso crack... so far i tin de out look of the bike not nice... but is 2k worth it? transfer he pay.. hope to get some advice from u all... cos don wanna buy liaoz alot of problem.... the tyre is dunlop.... hope to hear reply soon... as wanting to get a bike soon... thanks... den mayb can go rounding wif u all.. haha...
