Can someone solve for this problem.

I kickstart the bike. Engine running. Fuel ok, 2T ok. Fuel on.

Ride few km (Hougang to Bedok), then the bike dies off.

Then try to kickstart back but the engine dies back.

Kickstart few times backfire few times. In 3 mins kickstarting all the way, 5 backfires produce.

Try jumpstart from uphill to downhill + 2 men pushing.

Engine run, then throttle up, the engine doesnt want to rev further more then dies.

 

The only thing that can be solved is changing new or dry/wipe the spark plug.

 

Does riding slow causes this?

 

Whats' the cause of the problem? Speak plug? Carburettor?

It's a scrambler bike. WR200.

I possible explaination is the mixture in ur cylinders is too rich.. due to maybe Aftermarket Carburettor/Oversized Jet kits.

hey men and women of SP forum, anyone knows how to self tweak SP to make the idling rev higher? mine super low...and if i turn on headlights or brake lights, the bike will just turn off itself. suspecting its battery power or smth. advices?

Don't you guys miss the good old days; 20++++ SPs leaving cine carpark with a smoky wake, sitting on trailer chatting and smoking...

recently, i bumped into quite a few guys who we rode together so long ago, talking about good old days; and most, if not all had already upgraded and hanging out with their new groups.

and it's been almost a year since i've organised any gathering (used to be a weekly event?), gonna come out of retirement for once; for old days' sake

Hi all , new to this forum.Bump into the safety and Road riding tips while browsing and find it SUPER useful , Believe this site will help alot of riders with their bikes and not forgetting the friendly community. ( like the sp thread ) . Just bought my sp few months back . powerful bike to say . But still have some doubts about it that i faced.

 

Recently ive changed my engine oil and spark plug at spc motorcare ( i think its reliable lol ). But the drastic change in my engine noise really concerns me. Is it common after a change of oil? its vibrating alot and the noise so tajam ( sharp ). metallic sound like tat. Any1 care to share their exp

Theres a white/yellow flower shaped knob under ur petrol tank on the right side.. usually can reach with 2 fingers thru a space btw the frame and the petrol tank.. just turn it either clock wise or anti clock wise to adjust the idling

Most likely ur piston rings fried or ur piston seized liao.. better go check out before it jams.. i kena before
