Is it possible to change de transparent thing(dont know if it is glass or plastic) that is covering the headlight only? cos mine got one hole in de right headlight.

 

Or mus change the whole headlight? if can go where to change?

Hi ppl... a mototiam quoted me 3k for the bike... renew 10yrs coe + overhaul + change of bodyframe... is it priced too much?

hmmm, its a bit over i will say.

the most i will pay for machine onli is abt 1.5k, cause hafta factor changing those worn out parts. piston, tire n what not.

then add coe 1k to mayb around 2.5k onli.

y not try the forum sale section, find a reliable seller n u most likely will get a better deal compared to motodiam.

just changed piston and piston ring and polish block ,, service and tune carburator ,,

 

polish cylinder head ,, replace both bottom and top gasket ,, radiator flush and agrip collant replacement.

 

and the electric board ( which i dont know what it it. as it at the back of the seat

 

connected to the engine ) ( in chinese is dian ban )

 

include ngk spark plug ,, changing of fairing- 30 colour screw ,, change the front and back sprocket and chain.

 

it cost me $460 !!

 

isit worth or ?

 

please give some comments.

looking at your price i think i kena chop by the shop i first serviced my bike... did the same servicing on my piston, block, service carb, change brake pads, sprocket and chain (x-ring), CDI, balancer and rear brake pump... cost me ard $580 but oh well, cant regret now $$ spent already just move on...

 

complaining aside got a couple of questions:

1) current pipe is too loud want to change to stock one... does this mean i have to change stomach, end can, muffler or ....???

2) how much to replace my lights (signal lights both front and back, head lights and rear brake lights) to brighter LED ones??

3) how much to change my ignition? current key requires me to have the position just right before it can switch on light.... and if i want to change all the lock on my bike to use 1 key?

4) how much for aftermarket bubble?

5) how much for horn a louder that can pass inspection?

6) how much to replace all the screws on my bike to stainless steel one? some rusted pretty bad...

 

sorry for the bombardment of questions, just got pay check today so budgeting my money for bike parts...

agreed, when i was scouting for SPs with my friend 2 weeks back for his bike most shops quoted us 2.4-2.6k for bike with renewed insurance, plus they change most of the wear and tear parts prior to handing over the bike... i dont mean to say that shops are all about cheating ppls money, but they are a business and have to turn a profit to survive...

 

good thing about shops is that they allow payment by installments which is helpful if you dont have the cash straight up....

but still it could be a bit cheaper as u mention the engine oil and coolant , a bit redunant for sp
