but thats not the point.. point is, how come my reserve only can run for 7km? as opposed to the 20km u guys mentioned..

Cannot be 12.2L, how can it fit so much in and no spills? Hmmmm...

Btw reserve depends on...how shld i say...the fuel switch valve loh, i dunno how to explain, but from what I saw my frd scram, it's the rubber tube length which depends on how much is main tank, how much is reserve. More reserve allowance = Less main tank allowance.

My reserve can go 75km based on my calculation

:faint: What he meant is bubbles in the brake fluid system itself, as in along the hose. If there are it will affect the braking.

The small little window is for you to check whether there's enuff fluid inside anot. :slapforehead: If you see nothing when you shake your bike, better open up the resevoir to check, but brake fluid is corrosive btw, becareful of ya paintwork. :goodluck:

Hey guys, I'm wondering anyone here wants to flush their coolant and replace it with new ones? I'm gathering ppl to share a bottle of Redline's Water Wetter, for more info on this product, pls visit the thread at accessories and gadgets.

WaterWetter

It's around $28 (I think, will go check it out) for a bottle which can mix with 18L of distilled water. Who knows SP after flushing coolant need how much to top up to full?

Roughly $28 + distill water + labour charge / no of persons per bottle (6 perhaps too)

if what blackheart said is true, then i think my rubber tube is faulty, cause i once ran on reserve for 15km before i pumped..

oh man, i'm kinda worried..

There's 2 tube if remember correctly, one short one long both facing up when installed. So when yr switch is turned to on, the valve will feed petrol from the longer tube, when you ride till the petrol level low, the longer tube will not be able to feed petrol anymore, that's when turning the knob to the reserve and it will feed from the shorter tube.

Your tube is not faulty or whatever, if you never see the thing b4 it's hard to visualise. Perhaps it's too short? Cuz my frd when changing I saw the mech cut it shorter...dunno y also.

cannot be leh...cos last time on reserve run for like 15km then still have petrol leh.. then yesterday run on reserve for 7km then no more petrol liao..

theres this sentence in e manual which reads:

always switch back to ON before u pump or u may not have reserve when u need it

or something along that line

perhaps juz rem to switch to ON b4 u pump up next time..then see how?? see if still 7 or 15 km

Hi bgoy its true the coolant actually is at the front of your bike, although the container beside the 2T container contain the coolant but add in water as mixture. My coolant is green in colour.
