if price is not ok, dont buy. nobody is pointing a gun @ you to buy. not everything has a fix price. everywhere, everything is also like that. not only lab.

i think ps3 if you like more RPG and 1-player games like metal gear solid, little big planet (and some other games sorry havent bought that many new games).... 360 would be better if you like first person shooters and games you can play co-op like left for dead 2 (though i think playing on console controller is very weird for shooting games like that).... if you want games that you can play with big group of friends and the games are more casual, easier to pick up, i would suggest wii.....

 

hardware-wise ps3 is the newest of the consoles so the technology will be good for the next 3-5 years.... 360 the hardware is pretty dated, i think microsoft announced they are releasing a new xbox in the following years...

 

i would recommend buying console and games from http://qisahn.com/.... cheapest in sg i think versus shops like comix connection, challenger and other neighbourhood shops.... 2nd hand games are also cheaper from them at least $10-20 cheaper than from shops in funan.... not affiliated with this shop, just sharing a good lobang and my research.....
