hey bros,

 

everytime turn on headlight, then press brake my bike just die..just change new battery already, cdi changed..

any idea what might be the problem for my case? Isit the coil or rectifyer? thanks!

Btw bros, recently I rode thru Old Upper Thomson Rd, even best manage to take abit of video there...quite a chillax road to ride thru...by any chance anyone have rode thru before?

All this happen while stationary right? When you press the brakes then happened seems like electrical problem which linked to headlights and brakelights...any other symtoms? how about without starting engine while headlights on, try pressing brakes...anything unsual does all the lights works?

I personally had an accident there, something just tripped my & my bike jumped into the bushes. I walked back to see but can't find any thing.

Wuhoo thanks for the subs...ooo thats the volt meter bro, it shows the battery's voltage...useful to check if the batt is dying or if it being charged while bike is running...

yeah it happens when i start engine while remaining stationary. It seems that whenever i set my idle rpm setting to 3k, it works well but too high not good also..is there a permanent fix to this?

 

hmm have not try it without starting engine but battery pretty weak even tho i changed it last week. thanks!

Icic, since when rpm higher bike will be working better that means coil and rectifier is working and supplying enough to support charging of the batt...from your description seems that batt is dead...but the thing is u just changed the batt...hmm by any chance u familiar with using a multimeter to check the batt?

No problem, btw just to share. To test if batt is healthy or not...while engine off batt should read 12v...then when engine on, open throttle abit batt shud read more than 12v and max shudnt exceed 15v...thats means coil n rectifier is healthy and its charging the batt...

Hi peeps selling my 1999 honda nsr 150 sp

 

Body colour: red/white

Coe: 2019

Road tax: 02 dec 2013

 

Bike mostly stock. Paint work has minor scratches and cracks due to tank bag and over tightened screws

I only go service at planet / bikeworkz when my bike got problem. Other than that, spark plug eo i changed at my a bikeshop near my place.
why those 2 places that you mention are good ?

why those 2 places that you mention are good ?

 

personally last time my friend ride krr, we been few shop, my friend krr engine was smooth but top speed only 140, previously can go 180 at meter.

 

then a few shop tell my friend and i say need open engine, should be engine problem. but we are in doubt cause the bike just overhaul last than 3 month only.

 

then i went to planet the uncle rev and hear the sound tell us engine no problem tell me is plug coil something like a power circuit in the bike or wad but he dun have.

 

so after that we went to bikewerkz the boss ah beng rev then take out the tank and see he put another plug coil and try. then he go test ride he tell my friend this tiem should be can 180 le. that night my friend go really can go up to 180 alr.

 

then they will only ask u change the parts if the parts are really spoil if not they will just reuse.

 

but 1 bad thing about this 2 shop, always flooded with people prepare to wait few hours. so normally i only go when bike got problem.

 

eo all this i go my nearby shop change.
