How much is the bike on the road first?

Use this calculation..

1) Total amount of bike - downpayment = $$???

Eg: $3000(Total cost of bike) - $600(Downpay) = $2400

2) Next is how many years of installment you want and how much interest per annum?

Eg: 1 year 7% interest and you choose for a 3 years loan..

3) How much is per installment??

Eg: $2400(Remaining amount) x 0.21 = $504(Interest for 3 years) + $2400(Amount owed after downpayment) = $2904(Grand total amount inclusive of interest for the next 3 years)

Next,

Take $2904 / 36(36 months in 3 years) = $80.6666667(Montly installment for 3 years)

The downpayment is ur upfront payment...

transfer fees that are more than $70 are suspicious. i was ever quoted $220 for transfer fees and that was without gst. i asked why it was so high and the sales personnel said it was their standard pricing set by the pencil pushers. r i i ght.

Basically yes...

But pls ask for the OTR(On The Road) price of the bike...

OTR means everything which you would need to ride the bike officially on the road..

ah.. i see.. so transfer fees around 70 bucks.. 70 bucks abit overkill already right? OTR price should include insurance.. xfer fees.. coe.. road tax.. am i right?? should amount to around 200+?? or lesser.. thanks for helping guys.. at least i know how much to set aside from my pay le..
