haha... izzit... nv heard lahz.. on de road so noisy.. somemore u r on de other side... ermz... i park quite far away from ya... my bike reach there kanna wheelock... haha... my brake nv release... den wait awhile ok liaoz faster go ah boy do... go there abit sianz... nth to c 1... mostly class 2 stuff...

got the same prob as you..the sound seem to come from the front..but when i tighten the chain..the sound gone~

it's like when goin to reach 5k rpm, da sound like stutter...

very not smooth even on top gear....

anyone know da prob....?

mine also not smooth at 1st and 2nd gear when reach 5krpm when i open full throttle somemore the rpm like get stuck cannot go to 6krpm... but when i change to 3rd gear become very smooth liao everything... this happen only when my bike is cold but after traveling some distance the 1st and 2nd gear become smooth liao... dunno whether is the same as u or not

i think diff coz even after ridin so long it's still givin dat sound....

think better go shop and tell them to test ride and check da prob....

 

anyone know what exhaust system with the best effect but creates da least amount of sound?

 

if there is for sp,wat are da price....?

no legal aftermarket exhaust for sp, u change any, u get caught :/

 

sp original exhaust is already quite quiet, unless the prev owner did something to the endcan..

 

 

btw, its okay 'stuttering' at rpms below 5k. you dont really ride at that rpm do you? usually cruising speed should be arnd 5-6k rpm.. u must always remember.. sp is only a 150cc.. and its a 2 stroker, u'll not get much power at low rpms.. only when u rev high enough u'll get more power.. not smooth on top gear? u mean on 6th gear at what rpm?

ya lor...i think da prev owner did sumthin coz when i go t da bike shop go change spark plug and 2T, I ask him why da sound so noisy, he show me to da exhaust and said "this one got 'operate' already...."

 

haiz....noisy & stutterin just don't go together....

everytime ride now must rev until 4k rpm and shift up already...if not everyone look....

 

so where to bring bike to check ha...?any recomendations....?

aiyah, tong pipe is ok one la, as long as u dont wack past 7000rpm, the sound isnt as loud as it seems to be. probably like a old straight pipe bike, but not loud enough to attract TP attention.

 

my endcan also tong one, past 4000rpm already very loud le, but im also riding like that. the real sound comes in after 7000rpm. that is really loud.

 

check if got a screw below the endcan. if there is, most likely it kena "operate" before. the endcan got cut open.

 

riding at 4000rpm is actually quite smooth. just that the bike no power. the other smooth point is at 6000rpm. very smooth also. at 8000rpm also very smooth, but engine brake is quite tough. at 10000rpm the bike going to fly le... haha

wat stuttering sound? u mean at 5000rpm and the rev doesnt go up? and that the bike is vibrating like mad at 5000rpm?

 

it's normal for all SP.
