Ques: how come some SP have so good mileage(Higher), while some not so good(low)....Wat contributed 2 all these...

Complied my own personal list on ways to improve our FC, however minimum it is:

1) Changing gears at 4k rpm so as not to open e valve.

2) Tune your bike air-fuel mixture to run leaner (abit richer on e safer side).

3) Do not mod your bike, eg airbox (use e stock standard airbox, no need change to using airfilter), exhaust, fast throttle, cdi, sprocks (change to a smaller rear n bigger front sprock for slower acceleration, higher top end).

4) Avoid city riding so as to avoid accelerating from rest (accelerating from rest consumes more fuel than crusing at 6k rpm).

5) Do not pillion or carry heavy load (best is starve urself, save money on e food too. alternatively can mod ur rims to magnesium forged ones, change to carbon fibre/plastic fairings ).

6) Lower your idling speed to at least a min acceptable lvl, for eg 1.1k rpm.

7) Avoid switching off n starting e bike in quick succession (just leave it idling if u r only gone for 1 or 2 mins).

8) Use e smallest acceptable size for e front and rear tyres

9) Increase your tyre pressure to a high but acceptable lvl, for eg 24 front 26 rear.

10) Go for a overhaul to replace all the parts which have worn out, eg valves, fuel jet, polishing ur block.

11) Do not pull e choke for too long when warming up.

12) Use the manufacture recommended octane level for fuel.

13) Avoid using your bike's electrical system, for eg headlights, signalling, horning (prepare some money for fines).

Posted e above b4. Reposting is purely for e benefit of ur laziness, which i totally understand for i m a super lazy person.

Anything else i missed out to add on to e list? Thanks!

Anyway y some SP have better mileage than others. Very simple.

Assuming e same riding style n conditions, the 2 obvious reasons are:

The wear n tear of e engine is different.

For example, e exhaust valve of one SP is worn out more compared to another one. E more worn out exhaust valve will of course allow more incoming fuel to escape during e intake stage since it cant close properly.

The tuning of e air-fuel mixture ratio.

Different SP run different air-fuel mixture ratio.

Lean is bad, engine will b damage in e long run. Fuel helps to lube n cool e engine (cylinder n valves).

Rich isnt optimal either. Hinder performance, poor FC, in e long run leave undesirable residues.

For best performance, run abit leaner.

Forgot to add in, its better to run abit richer on e safer side.
