y i am not surprise about this piece of info.

 

considering the reliability of honda wave and itz fc.

 

Boon Siew Malaysia is touting the Future as a better bike compared to Wave.

Has better fuel mileage, bigger U-Box storage.

Reliability of Hondas are well, Honda.

Saw this bike at unique toh guan

 

It's called "new Honda wave I"

 

Saw the under seat storage. Definitely can put 1 x full face helmet

 

Fuel tank is 5.x L based on the manual

sad to say that Honda Future 125 only compliant with Euro-2 Emission.

i have saw many honda wave i 125 which is almost identitical to honda future

i saw girls using in Spore

i saw old birds using in spore too

 

but take note

 

hnda future is lousy cause using carburator

while

spore is using PGM-Fi and also euro3

spore version honda is the BEST

 

but spore version using spoke rim

while msia using standard sport rim high quality

 

also

 

msian model coloring the best . It even has special edition called " tribal "

why using carburetor is no good?

WHAT i dont understand is why honda or for that matter yamaha or suzuki dont produce a 250cc cub. a honda future with 250cc, front and rear disc brake with maybe 8liter tank. this type of configuration can be seen with the phantom. so why not make a cub

The whole point of a cub is basic transport, which is why it has a tiny engine, auto clutch etc to make it easy to use.

 

1) people with basic licences will not be allowed to ride it at 250cc.

2) costs will go up so fewer people can afford it.

3) 250cc and 8 litre tank means it will become a lot heavier and harder for people to manage. Remember that teens and old people ride these things.

4) Heavier means petrol consumption goes up.

5) front and rear disc brake doesn't make sense in developing countries with unpaved roads because rocks will hit the exposed disc brake and warp the disc. And its easier to lock up on wet roads.
