To TS, take out and bring your battery to a shop to charge. No need to bring an entire bike to charge battery.

If you want, buy a reliable battery charger that uses 3-pin power to charge. I'm using the CTEK charger to charge my batt nowadays.

Do take note that there might be a chance that your batt has been depleted and unable to charge anymore, ie. spoilt.

Your bike is heavy, so push start is going to be very difficult. Hence alternative, if you want to push start, bring your bike up a slope and using the downslope acceleration to help you.

I meant my pivot voltage stabiliser has this meter reader thing...or is that still called volt meter? :cheeky:

Oh voltmeter... If it indicates low.. Means no juice at the battery.

Thanks for the recommendation. As mentioned above, I am really quite the idiot in the mechanical and electrical area. However, I have managed to take out the batt and will be sending it to the bike shop tmr for further diagnosis on whether there is a requirement to change it or just a recharge will do.

Hi...thot i cld tag along on this thread instead of spamming another new one.

Just replaced new batt for my spec 1 on 8th dec. Previous replacment was 15mths ago. Then this morning bike cant even start. Last rode the bike last friday. Cant be 4 days of inactivity can drain bike's batt right?

Only hv volt meter and pivot voltage stabiliser tapped to the batt n i doubt these are batt suckers right?

Possible that the shop did a lousy installation or gave me crap battery? Wonder whats my chance of getting free replacemnet if any...? Or cld it be somethg else that needs to be replaced? :giddy:

There is high chance ur stator coil fried

is your bike equipped with the slim-type iu unit? if yes, do a connector cos the iu will drained off your battery power if there is prolong inactivity for your bike.

I don't recommend batt charging at shop, unless no choice - I got a feeling that are using quick charging, as most customers doesn't like to wait for charging, that's why I rather buy a charger and charge slowly in office.
