New 2014 BMW Scooter Colors Announced

Introduction

(July 2013) BMW announced the availability of three new colors for the 2014 BMW C 650 GT scooters. The 2014 scooters are available for order and deliveries will commence in August of 2013.

 

BMW C 650 GT

As of model year 2014, the BMW C 650 GT will be available with the following altered range of options and new paint finishes: Central tunnel and filler cap in black grain (previously painted). New opening mechanism for filler cap. Instrument cover in black gloss. Swing arm cover in the paint finish Nürburg silver metallic. New paint finishes Havana metallic and Quartz blue metallic. The paint finishes Platinum bronze metallic and Vermillion red metallic are no longer available.

Cant visualise when in action with oil. If fully covered with oil, this might takes 2 litres of oil. That will be expensive.

To Give away: SHAD 33 Box with base bracket.

Hi, understand that the seat is quite high. Any problem for person with height of 1.63m to ride on this bike? Please advise.

 

Shd not be a prob if u position urself abit more to the front, however u can go dwn for a test-ride to see if è bike suits u.

First 1K service is free. Every 10K service is S$250~S$300 until you hit 40K which need to replace belt and some other parts, price unknown at the moment (nobody hit this figure yet).

Anyone interested in other brand of approved exhaust? I have called a few distributors and they are interested to bring in the approved exhaust if there are interest.

Giannelli- $900 for titanium slip on exhaust with carbon end cap. Cheaper if normal end cap.

Leo vince-ard $8++ for aluminum type.

Waiting for gpr reply.

Above price are indicative, can neg lower if there are 3 or more.

 

Puig also have the fender eliminator for ard $3++, can also neg price if there are more order.

 

Anyone keen on the above?

Drivetrain pix

The right pix shows the CVT assembly - because it is connected to the crankshaft it is always turning when the engine is running. The left pix shows the clutch - connected by a cross shafts to the CVT - when the clutch engages it turns the gear at the transmission which pulls on the chain.

My last year invoice show Engine Oil 4 litre at S$140.

And your attachment showing 3litre at $342. Thus I would still believe 10k servicing likely at the range of S$600

To Give away: SHAD 33 Box with base bracket.

That invoice is from Africa, with conversion rate of 0.78416, it would work out to be around $970+/=

And engine oil at the cost of S$268 is still way too high.
