Bike won't start after rain

I wiped the spark plug dry. The bike once in like 20 kicks can start, but i have to open throttle. There's a lot a lot of white smoke "coughing" and "sputtering" sound coming from the exhaust. Once I close throttle then the engine dies. Have to kick like 20 times again.

 

I could start the bike after 2 hours. But what could be the problem?

isnt it normal for two strokes to have alot of white smoke? have you tried starting with choke?

spark plug cap..must change also..due to wet. .Once done should b ok

try draining the fuel tank a little n clean e carb

try draining the carb but loosening the drain screw located at the bottom of ur carb.

Hmm....thanks a lot guys. I'll try all your advice next time it happens again. Weather nowadays really like crap....

yeah but the white smoke is in ridiculous amounts haha....look like my bike caught fire like that. choke, no choke, all try le...

happend to me..same bike..luckily i dun panic n send for towing..i kick start the bike in "off mode" a few times.den push start in " on mode"...bike cough white smokes like nobody business ( luckily it was at nite)..den walla!..ride off..no need waste money to go to workshop
