Hi all, recently just got myself a Husqvarna Svartpilen 200.

I'm looking for a community for this bike, or its older brother Svartpilen 401.

Please PM me if you know anyone riding this bike as its quite uncommon, or fellow brothers or sisters interested, we can create a group. 🙂

Cheers, and ride safe.

Hi @coconutman

Am on the same ride as you! Hope you are having a blast on your ride! This range is really uncommon... and loving it so... till date, have only seen this range on the road 5 times.

Keep in touch... cheers!

Hi there,

Yeah it's been great so far! Still breaking it in, but it's really throttle happy. If you'd like, we can do a meetup sometime. Hit me up on telegram, @muhney

Hello Husqvarna riders!

@coconutman What made you choose the Svartpilen over the KTM Duke 200? It sure does look better though!

I chose the Svartpilen over the Duke mainly because of the riding posture and seat height. I'm quite tall, so the Svartpilen is much more comfortable. The Duke had my knees bent very awkwardly when riding.

Like the fact that Husqvarna naked bikes are a rare sight on SG roads!

Hi there, seems late for me to post on this thread and we do have same concerns.
Just got mine for almost a month now and it is really fun to ride! It is my first bike too!
(I know its silly to own one upon getting a 2B but I simply cannot pass on 'rarity' while given a rather unique plate no.)

If there are communities revolving around this bike, please hit me up as well!

Hi @Bols

Welcome fellow Husky owner!

Agree totally with you that it's far from being a cost effective purchase but then I succumbed to the same reason as you (minus the unique plate)!

Did you purchase it new or from the resale market?

Still running in or past the 1k mark?

Whoa finally this thread is alive now! Lets keep it going! hahaha!

I purchased it new at Yishunmotoring, the dealer did his best to give me the best number and apparently it was his last stock.

I also heard there are only about 250 units of SvartP 200's here in Singapore, hence the uncommon sight.

Yes, i'm still at my 500KM mark, break in is quite a drag but eh, we have to 'sayang' our baby 😄 . I'm starting to look for riding groups just to fulfill the break in period.

How is it going so far on your end? It has been 2 months now. Cheers!

Hmmm...I have thoughts that Svart 200's parts are more or less compatible to the 401's.
I'm asking my friends in the philippines (its more common there) which parts can fit a 200.

Kudos for the share by the way! ❤️

Edit:
Found a dealer in india and inquired regarding accessories. Here's one of them:

yo hi there! I don't think there are 250 units, I talked to the guys at DW before and they mentioned something more like 20 to 30s. Its a very rev happy bike, but doesnt feel very smooth on the low end.

I managed to find a whatsapp group, but its not very active at all.

Nice! Hope they gave you a good deal for it! :)

250 units! 🤔 That's a shocker... till date, I've only sighted (mostly the 401s) about 5 times... you and @coconutman are the only other Svart200 onwners that I'm aware of!

Ohhh......!!! sounds like stonks over here! More the reason to keep it and never sell it; looks like husqvarna will not produce 200's anytime in the future but 125's and 250's, hence it might possibly turn into a collector's bike. I guess we better keep it, even if I have to export it overseas! hahha!

Oh yeah, didnt mind the bit bumpy ride at times but hey, they do ride smoother than most 2b bikes at 90km/h. My friend tried mine and yeah, broke the 'break in' rules. hahah!

I have not spotted any fellow husky in general. And yes, statistically 250 might even be a saleman's overstatement. I have rode from north-east to town quite often recently, seen none yet.

Perhaps there many who are unaware of this website; I was once told the dealer sold a 200's to a xiao meimei like lady when i mentioned about suspension adjustment, considering its a fairly tall bike.

That said, there are sleeper husky owners out there. maybe we should hangout at KTM dealership at tampines more, perhaps? hahaha!

I go to DW at Bukit Merah for servicing and stuff... the only 2 Svart200s that I see there are mine and the display unit! 😂

Not surprised that many don't really 'hang out' here... it's rather quiet here unless there are events or the promotional threads by the bike shops.

Hahaha! I guess it'll be rather disadvantageous if a svartpilen owner is an introverted one during group meetups. Speaking of which, has anyone done meetups before?

Also, what's DW? hahaha!

Have not been to any meet-ups yet... don't even know if there has been any! :)

@Bols

Totally missed this post... let's keep this 'poison' sharing going! :)

Would love to see what you and the others are doing/have done to our rides.

I'm guessing that we have quite some commonality with the 401s... though most of the sellers can't confirm that due to the rarity of the 200s. For e.g. with the DNA filters, I had to do part number comparisons btn the 401 and 200 before making the purchase.

Have got brake & clutch levers on the way from www.probrake.de... fingers crossed that it'll work!

Just pick up my Husky 200 last week. So far so good and definitely an improvement from the phantom I was riding prior. Just waiting to break in the engine to really engoy the rpms on the engine. Nice to meet some fellow husky owners, and also nice to know that it isn't overly common too.

Well, recently went to wash her up for the first time and looking sexy as usual! I havnt done much 'modifications' but added a usb port.
It is a struggle for me to find a tank bag and even if i do resort to a DIY ones wherein tactical admin pouches (those we use in the army) might not work well..Any suggestions?

Welcome back @Bols aka @Bolsacks... still WFH lor... 😂

Love the way your front number plate is mounted. Able to share details on how it's done? Mine is suspended ban the headlamp & speedometer... like your arrangement more.

The bar end mirrors pictured here are the original Husky ones (from Dirtwheel)... IMO, overpriced. If I were to relive the experience, would give the motogadget mirrors a try (https://www.motogadget.com/shop/en/spiegel.html). They look sic.

When positioned above the h/bars, view is almost identical to stock. When placed in this position, some movement is needed to get a good view... went with this orientation anyways as it looks better (yes... guilty) and I still turn my head to check so can live with it.
